I have a 9700k paired with a rtx 3060, but im looking for some more graphics performance, i run a 1440p monitor
@@lego_max8999is a 7900 GRE within your budget? If not you could do a 7700xt
Hello i currently have a ryzen 5 5600x, rtx 3060Ti, and 750w psu which should i upgrade to have good fps and great graphics quality at 1440p gaming?
@@markgeraldrolloda2860the GPU. You could also upgrade the CPU to the 5700X3D but the GPU is most important.
Jason !!! NVIDIA drivers and Applications NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!!!!! Jason, can you save me from this nightmare... I saw other people also post on the NVIDA apps and drivers nighmares which simply WILL NOT UNINSTALL ... I have Rog Strix B450-F Gaming II MB, Ryzen 5600x and NVIDIA RTX2060 GPU ... and I had to abandon my upgrade to Radeon RX6750 XT because the NVIDIA stuff simply will not go away. I updated the BIOS on the MB, tried the Microsoft removal tool etc.. NO LUCK ! There have to be some tools or procedures by savvy techies who can guide us ... I am far from ignorant concerning I.T. and windows 10 and comfortable cleaning up the REGISTRY etc.
This is the best PC hardware channel! Useful and straight to the point.
Thanks so much, glad you're finding it useful! Hope you keep enjoying all the content.
agree - I also love Jason's energy and enthusiasm which is a step above most channels. It adds a lot to the overall presentation and engages the viewer.
Another thing with the fresh windows install. If you change the language to English(world) instead of your country, then it won’t install a ton of extra bloat programs that many people don’t use. And the links to install everything is still there so if you’re missing something it’s easy to find/re-install
😏 LOL you are 100% Right, i remembered installing Windows in Spanish for my cousin and the installation is not the same as the standard USA English install, they get a basic streamline install with very few hassles, its not right 😊
This content is exactly why, even though I don't watch all the videos, I keep subscribed to your channel. I've learnt so much from you and your videos I can't even begin to explain. I am so very happy I stumbled upon your channel when I did, because if I have the computer I have today, and if I know everything I know today, it is because you exist. Don't ever stop being the way you are, because your content is always the best. And also, love the cats (I intend to adopt a black cat because I fell in love with yours). Thank you again all the way from Spain. Sincerely.
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! It really means a ton to me. Mr Bear approves your plan to adopt a black cat! Hello Spain and hope you keep enjoying the content. (:

Thank you!
Great guide. Thanks.
Hope its helpful! Thanks for watching
Thanks for your amazing contents. I've been following your channel for some time now and your videos are great. I recently helped 2 of my friends build a new pc and they were very satisfied with their build. You videos specially the one on ram helped a lot. Thanks again man.
That's so great to hear! Glad we could help and thanks for letting us know!
Jason! Another great video as always. Stay well and thanks for sharing!
Thanks, you too!
Your videos are so helpful appreciate you!!

Will definitely use this for future upgrades. In the middle of getting all the pc parts to build for pc so I'll be sure to check out other videos as well.
Sounds great, that's amazing! Good luck with the rest of all your purchases. Thanks for tuning in!
Love you Jason... Thanks for keeping me updated in PC parts and getting value for $$$$ in building Gaming Computers... Your awesome!!! Never change!

as always awesome video! your vids really helped me a lot with picking the right PC for me.
That's great to here, glad that worked out! Thanks so much for watching.
Nice. I have a new GPU that I haven't installed yet and your guide makes it far simpler than I imagined it would be.
Love to hear that! Glad that worked out!
Nice guide, covers the basics I would. I don't have anything to add that crosses my mind right now.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching
I made the same CPU upgrade from a 5600 to 5800X3D. You also have to remember to get an aftermarket CPU cooler as neither the Wraith Stealth or Prism will cut it for a 5700X3D/58000X3D.
Great video!
Thank you! Glad its helpful!
Very useful. Thanks, Jason. 👍😊
You got it! Hope you keep enjoying all the videos.
@@PCBuilderChannel I do watch them all, actually. I think your videos are especially good at informing people new to PC building. My first build was...geez...2017. I've built and rebuilt many times over since then. It's becoming a craft.
Hi I need your suggestion. I want to create a Home server that can be used for streaming in home theater via network.
Please suggest me hardwares that are needed. And is it possible to build it using new AMD epyc 4004 series?
The other thing i do whenever i power off the pc to replace a part is once I turn it off i will hit the power button onec more to make sure to drain all the power from it.
That's a great guidr actually! I may add that sometimes your performance issues and hitching may come from faulty solid state drives.
And if you have system freezes it can be from faulty RAM.
Thanks Konstantin!
Hi Jason. You are awesome.
Good morning! Hope you enjoy (:
hi :) im looking forward to this vid
Hope you enjoy!!
which one is that white cooler?
Good morning Jason, Mrs. ,crew and kitties!
The cats and Sarah say hi!
Finally able to build my new system but ran into a strange snag. I am short a 4 pin power connector for CPU. Weird how close you can be to having everything right and still roll a 1.
Thank you for teaching us the this and thats of upgrades and pc build in general! I am pretty stoked, just caught a Ryzen 5700X plus 500gb SSD for $170 on Newegg and an X570 Asus Tuff plus WiFi for 100 bucks new off Amazon warehouse to upgrade from my B350 + Ryzen 3600 a bit!
You're very welcome! Congrats and good luck with the upgrade! :)
so we should not do a format and install anymore?
Excellent video guide as always
So glad you enjoyed!
@@PCBuilderChannel much love from Trinidad and Tobago
Thanks Jason. I am using exactly the same GPU and CPU right now. 6650xt and ryzen 5600 combo from 2 years ago. (Thanks for your previous recommendation video 😄). It worked super well but I think its time for me to upgrade. I just wondering, why dont you suggest the rx 6800xt since I saw its number 2 on the top 12 1440p games? And if I upgrade the CPU to 5700x3d, which GPU should I choose to get the most of it? For the record, used 6800xt, 6900xt and new 7600xt almost price the same in my country which is around $380-$400. Or, feel free to advise another type of GPU
Hello! Nice combo you got there. If you drop in the 5700X3D you can upgrade your GPU all the way to a 4090 if you wanted to so at that point I'd go for the best that fits your budget. 6800XT is a good choice if you are seeing it at a price you like and don't need the AV1 encoding. (:
Is a good STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC, Intel Core i7 3.4G up to 3.9G, Radeon RX 5700 8G GDDR6, 16G RAM, 512G SSD, 600M WiFi, BT 5.0, RGB Fan x
You do a great job presenting and you make it as easy as possible. I built a pc in December and already want to make another. This time in an ATX case. 😊
That's amazing, congrats on the build! So glad you're enjoying the channel, thanks so much for watching!
I have the Fractal Torrent with a Noctua DH15 using the offset bracket for an AMD 7800X3D. The cooler somewhat overlaps the top pcie slot for my gpu, and the bottom slot would put my gpu kinda close to the bottom intake fans the case uses. Is it alright to have the gpu close to those fans? It limits the size card I can use, but I was planning on capping at a 4070TI Super which isn't as thick as something like a 4080. I just don't want to mess something up by having the intake fans mess with the gpu fans in some way. Hopefully I explained this at least sorta decently haha, thanks for any help
🙂 or sell of the Noctua and pickup a Scythe Mugen 6, the heatpipes are slanted both to the back and towards the top
Nice!🙂
Hope you enjoy!
im upgrading to a 7800x3d and 7800xt. Nice Combo
built myself a 5600x/3080 system because of your tips! I had the 3080 laying around so it was just a matter of the rest of the components and I watched your videos over time to make the best decision I could! Thanks!
Hey that's awesome! Glad I could help! Good combo now and you've got a nice upgrade path down the road with a potential 5700X3D drop in in the future (:
flip the case on front stop use the sag coach on gpu so the cables are on top
I'm running a 5800x with a 6700xt, should i upgrade to a 7800xt or a 7900gre? also both my m.2 slots are being used (2 x 2tb), should i get a card for more m.2 storage? I am a bit of a data hoarder. I have a 1000w psu so power is not an issue. I don't want to upgrade the cpu, motherboard and ram yet.
5800X is just a tiny bit faster than a Ryzen 5600, which starts to hit a CPU Bottleneck between the 7700 XT & 7800 XT. If you plan to drop in a 5700X3D or 5800X3D at some point in the future, grab the 7900 GRE.
Right Jason, see if you can answer my question, nobody has yet...I've just finished my build, I have an Asus Rog Strix B650-a Gaming Wi-fi, with 32gb ram 6000mhz CL30, Ryzen 7 700x, with the Deep Cool Ak620 digital, and a Powercool Hellhound Spectral RX7800xt, I want to mount my GPU vertically inside my Montech King 95 Pro using the Cooler master bracket, but...will there be enough space to mount it vertically with the Ak620 digital?
That case is kinda small, I advise selling off that case and stepping up to something alot Bigger such as the big NZXT Flow or a clone of it
Let’s go Jason!!!!…. #Catdads!!… ❤ would love to see some workstation builds options!!.. hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!
#catdads!!
@@PCBuilderChannel everytime I see a new video in the morning, I make sure I have my build it mug next to me! 😂
I currently have a prebuilt and will be building a pc very soon but how do I go about the data transfer? I have a licensed windows and GPU drivers, since I bought 2 Nvme's for the new build can I just transfer everything to them (idk how to properly do this lol) and do the GPU driver clean before installing them? I also don't know if I need to reinstall windows on the nvme and uninstall it from the HDD, I plan on still using the drives I currently have (Sata and HDD) mainly for file storage as I do video editing as well but I'd like to transfer games and apps to the nvme's
its best to buy an external 3.5 hard drive, for example a WD BOOK, they are pretty cheap now, you dont have to get a huge one, just figure out how much space you have
@@MrSamadolfo well I have now 3 TB and I bought 3 more
@@Grey4953 🙂 Nice
Thank you Jason for the video! I built my current PC when were transitioning from AM4 to AM5 and DDR4 to DDR5. They were expensive back then and no X3D CPU from AMD yet. So, I got R7 5800X3D to pair with the RX7900XTX. Can't wait to see the new Ryzen 7 9800X3D!! I will need to upgrade pretty much half of my system, geez.
Nice combo you got there!!
if i want to upgrade my NVME SSD, is it easy as just removing the old one and putting the new one in or their other steps to it?
We cover this here! You can jump to it in the chapter times
Any good suggestions for inverse case builds? I don't really want to go down the o11 dynamic evo route, but I would prefer to put my desktop on the left side of my desk. I like the look of the Thermaltake tower 300 but it is micro ATX/mini ITX only.
I don't have anything to add for that sorry! I've never done one but I know there are some niche videos out there for it. Let us know how it goes!
@@PCBuilderChannel Yeah I think Coolermaster have some cases that can be used for inverse builds, still more research to do lol
Hey guys if you have four slots of ram installed on your pc and you want to upgrade your existing GPU, you might encounter an issue that pc starts up and shut down instantly over and over, the solution is simply take out three ram and put only one ram onto slot B1 and see whether it boots up.
Hey jason...after a year of buying parts here and there I finally built my first pc!!!(and it ran) I have a corsair rm 750e and was wondering if I should use the daisy chained pcie cable or two of the single cables for my gpu
5600x3d
Asus tuff gaming plus wifi2
Crucial 2tb name ssd
32gb rip jaws 3200 cl 16 ddr4
Peerless assassin
6750xt red devil
Montech sky two
corsair rm750e
Nice build with a good price to purformance while looking good
NO, give preference to the 'single cables' if you have them, the daisy chain is only if you don't have enough singles, preferably if given a choice only use single cables but of course that means more money and a bigger power supply, but you only got a Red Devil 6750XT so thats only TWO 8pin plugs and pretty much all 750's have a single cable for each plug so your Golden my friend 👍
Congrats on the Build! The cable gauge on that PSU is fine to daisy chain, but my default answer is usually "use two cables". Looks awesome!
Currently have Ryzen 5 3600x, Crosshair VII Hero x470, 16GB DDR4 3600 and a RTX 2080S not sure if going with more Ram and maybe a Ryzen 7 5700x would benefit with the 2080s? Any advice?
So if you're just Gaming with it 16GB of RAM is fine. You can upgrade the CPU though. Just note Jason says the 5700X isn't worth the extra money over the 5600.
Can anyone recommend a good affermarket air cooler for a a Ryzen 5 3600x CPU?
Any budget tower air cooler will do! See our Best Budget Gaming PC 2024 video for some more options
Jason or any other person who know about CPU coolers, I cant decide what CPU cooler i should get now i have a stock cooler but my Ryzen 5600x is getting to hot for my liking (90-95) Celsius. do you have any ideas for a great cooler under 600 Swedish krona (around 60 dollar) or around that budget, I found a CPU cooler named Deepcool AK500 and it looks good, Do you think i should buy that one ore is there a better one. (I don't really know so mush about pc components). I am from Sweden.
Thermalright assassin. Very good cheap air coolers.
🙂 broh, your having the same problem as intel motherboards, the bios defaults the cpu voltages and frequency way too high, there should be a way for you to manually underclock the cpu so that you can run the cpu much cooler, with a proper undervolt the cpu should run and hover in the mid 70s on an oem stock cooler, but you have to do it manually because most motherboard manufacturers don't care and they are burning up CPUs
Check out our new Best Budget Gaming PC 2024 video, we have great cooler options there
When changing the CPU or the CPU cooler, especially on older PCs, the thermal paste can be like glue and its hard to get the cooler off without damaging anything. In that case its helpful to run a CPU stresstest to get the paste warmed up, switch the PC off and start unmounting the cooler shortly after. I dont like the thought of using a blow dryer inside the case xD..Other than that, there is not much to add. Nice vid, happy upgrading!
got a 5700X 3060 rig. I'm not sure if I should put a 40 series or build a DDR5 rig from ground up.
A GPU upgrade would be nice here! A 7700XT would be substantial boost and you can get those for around $379.
I'd say wait for the RTX 5000 series.
I have an i9-9900k and a 2080ti with 32gigs of ram..... should i go for a new build or change a specifc couple components ? My PSU is a 1050w 80 plus platinum, tbh the system is 5 years old xD Any help appreiciated!!
It all depends on if you are happy with the performance. The 2080 Ti is as strong as a 3070 but with 11GB VRAM, so you'd ideally want a 7900 GRE / 4070 Super to get a substantial enough upgrade to make it worth the money. However the 9900K is going to bottleneck those GPUs (hard to believe right? but it is weaker than a Ryzen 5600 in gaming). So depending on your budget, I might just build brand new with a high end GPU and something like a Ryzen 7600. But wait to see what gets announced next week at Computex.
@@PCBuilderChannel Thanks for the reply man its the information i needed! Yeah was gonna wait for the end of the year anyways see what gets announced and see what prices drops happen in the wake of those announcements lol
I personally like to adjust cooler screws 1 level tighter than screwing it "softly" with screwdriver or with your hands. I got this from tuning up drums and I tighten them a bit more to make sure is there and is not loose, but not too tight either.
i do it out of the case and i tighten it finger tight then start checking with a good twist and tug, then tighten a bit more, then do a tug test again, cooler manufacturers are not consistent with each other so with some companies you can messup your morhterboard if their screws are kinda sketchy, be careful
@@MrSamadolfo Yeah, great advice. But that's what I do as well, sort of. I tighten them "tight enough" but not too much and try to move it (gently) and see if it gives. If it's solid, it's good to go and doesn't need any more tightening.
I have a laptop and a mini PC so I'm looking to build a PC eventually maybe. I was conflicted last night because virtualbox would no longer open on my mini pc
Its a good time to build!
Don’t forget a nice comfortable and affordable keyboard, I just invested in an ak820 pro and it’s genuinely feels easier on my hands to use already
Finally, will be getting my system built on Monday, tomorrow I'm getting msi g274qpf e2 for my build.
Exciting!! Best wishes on the new rig!! Let us know how it all goes

I think it would be an upgrade for you
sure, then sell the 5600X or use the 5600X to build a second pc and keep it or flip it
Yes that would be an upgrade and will set you up for huge GPU upgrades in the future when you are ready for that
Hi there Jason. Great video for step by step upgrading. I would like to upgrade my Rx 6600 8gb to a RTX 3060 12Gb. Is that Optimal or are there any GPU's right now better. Note that my Budget is nearly 400Dollars to upgrade the Gpu.

I've been upgrading most of my PC parts after having months of black screen crashes. I've tried to search for people who have had the same error and am lost. I've tried build a PC and LTT communities for help and no one has been able to help. I've replaced, cpu, motherboard, RAM. I think its a very rare issue though as there so little help online. PSU upgrade is next. Upgrading from 850W to 1000+ I guess.
Did you download and run MEMTEST86 ??? it takes about 2 to 4 hours? Next did u do a cinebench run of about an hour? next did you do a heaven benchmark and furmark benchmark? next did u try a different video card? next do you have a decent power supply from the PSU TIER LIST? Next take the board out and see if its crashing due to maybe the case shorting it out? Check cpu socket and pins? Morning Jason 🫡
Good morning!! Thanks for tuning in
Woah! What are these steps to uninstall graphics driver? Both nvidia and radeon drivers have clean install options
1 replace gpu
2 perform clean installation of graphics driver
download and install DDU, boot into safe mode, run DDU and reboot, now install your driver and reboot, done
Any video that starts off with "DOES YOUR PC SUCK??!!" You got me - I'm in for the whole video 😂
Haha glad that did it! Thanks for watching :))
@@PCBuilderChannel ha - of course - and in all seriousness, Jason - love your channel! Been subbed here a long time. I watch a ton of your content. Expert knowledge coupled with palpable enthusiasm, energy, and charisma - it keeps me engaged, and your excitement passes to me (the viewer) and gets me pumped up, which is awesome. 👍
Hey Jason, HUGE fan of the channel, I currently have an Intel i5-13600K with an AMD RX 6600 and was wondering my next GPU should be in the $600'ish range. I was considering another AMD, but I'm just not sure. Thanks for all your hard work!
For Gaming the 7900GRE would be a great option for you.
Agreed with Ty! There's actually a great price on the 7900GRE right now, I'm about to post it to the community page so check that out! And see our latest GPU Market Update video for more options
I hope prices for storage will come down again soon. Last year we had amazing prices
everything is going up, theres new import tariffs coming soon
I am using an i5- 13600kf with z690 ddr4 mobo with 32 gb 3600mhz ram. Is it worth it to change my mobo to a ddr 5 platform ? Thanks
No I don't think it's worth it. DDR4 is perfectly fine.
I wouldn't think so unless you've already maxed out your GPU
I have a question. I read stuff where you shouldn't update AMD GOUs as often as Nvidia. Is the true? I have the RX6750XT
That's probably referring to the AMD headroom being better with older CPUs than Nvidia.
@@PCBuilderChannel oh OK
ty
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Ok silly question , would it be better to have the C.P.U. fan pointing down towards the motherboard (as in a low profile fan arrangement E.G. the Noctua NH-L9x65 ) or have it as usual where it is pushing the air towards the exhaust fan , I'm specifically thinking it would help cool the VRM's etc if the fan was blowing towards the board
Down is correct.
@@zonemanbobo yes but would that be better or no different to having it just blasting air towards the exhaust fan in terms of cooling the V.R.M.s?
@@familyplans3788 if the fan is blowing up how is it cooling the heatsink? Right?
@@familyplans3788 the fan must blow threw the heatsink to cool it. So it must be down. It's the only way. If you pointed the fan up, your CPU temps would skyrocket.
@@zonemanbobo no sorry i havent explained it very well , i mean the traditional way of CPU cooling is to blast the air from the CPU towards the Exhaust fan , but that bypasses the VRM , If you had the CPU fan blowing instead towards the board then would that be better for the VRMs?
Hello I have a i5 8600k + 1060 6gb. I want to play upcoming 2025 games at 1080p. I need to replace the graphics card but is the CPU still ok?
Depends on your budget. It would be nice to also replace the CPU but if funds are low it's probably fine.
@@kelley09162 I want to replace the gpu first and then in 2-3 years replace the cpu + motherboard and go ddr4 -> ddr5. My budget just for the graphics card is 300 maybe 350... What are some good options for me? Also I rather buy a second hand gpu since its usually 100-200$ cheaper
@@averageMHenjoyer for the GPU the 6700XT/6750XT and 7600XT are great options. The Intel A770 is another good choice.
You will end up with at CPU bottleneck on a number of games but when you do upgrade your CPU that will be alleviated. An RX 6600 would be a boost, a 6750XT would be even better
My 6600k still chugging along!
I do a lot of photo processing and my old 8700K Intel system just does not seem to be keeping up. Gaming has never been an issue. I previously upgraded to 32 GB of RAM and it just seems sluggish. I'm looking into upgrading CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Is there a better way to go between AMD and Intel? I will be reusing my case, power supply, and storage. I am running a 4070 super if that matters.
Either option is good.
What's your current PSU wattage and what's your budget for upgrades?
can you get to Microcenter? they have the best cpu bundles
850W. If I can replace those components for under $600 I call it a win. I know I could put together various options in that price point but I just didn't know if one system is better for my needs than another. Everything pushed online is the best system for gaming. My system is great for gaming but when I'm processing thousands of photos it just seems to crawl.
@@trey99ek so here's my recommendation.
The CPU Cooler is there to accommodate any future CPU Upgrades.

Would a 5600x and 7700xt pair well together? or should i upgrade to am5?
That's a good combo so no need to go AM5

Im trying to buy the ryzen 7800X3D and a RTX 4070 Super, should i hold off for sometime or go for it?
Hold off because AMD might announce new CPUs next week
@@kelley09162 alright kelly
I might wait a couple days for announcements at this point. But in the meantime check out our 7800X3D build guide on the channel
@@PCBuilderChannel lol I already watched it many days ago and decided on everything, Thanks I will hold off for now really hope we get some good news🤭in computex event
I need a second opinion, i plan on learning blender and making 3d models as a hobby and stream for the same reason. Do you think i should go nvidia because of the advantages or try radeon?
If you're using it for that and not Gaming yes Nvidia makes sense
I should've mentioned i also plan to game on it
@@stabbed4665 so what I would recommend depends on your budget and what your primary use case is.
@kelley09162 gaming first, streaming second, and blender third
Budget doesn't really matter, but i would try not to leave 4070 super price, so ~$600
@@stabbed4665 so 600 for the GPU? Also do you already have a PC build or are you building new?
So with that order in mind I would go with the 7900GRE. Nvidia is better for Blender but since that's the least important to you it makes more sense to get the best Gaming CPU for your budget.
The Sapphire Pulse 7900GRE is currently $550 and I've heard good things about Sapphire.
which GPU/CPU cooler/RAM would you recommend with 7800x3d for 1080p competitive games like pubg/cs2 240hz monitor? Ty ❤
So considering the 7800X3D CPU this build will be overkill for 1080p but that's fine.
GPU I would go 7900GRE
CPU Cooler Thermalright Phantom Spirit
RAM 6000 CL30 either G.SKill Flare, Trident Neo, or Teamgroup T-Force.
What Ty said. I'd rethink your CPU choice personally its way overkill for 1080p, especially for games like that. But if you have unlimited budget and that doesn't bother you check out our 7800X3D build guide and our Best Gaming Monitor 2024 video
@PCBuilderChannel i just want atleast 240 stable fps and maybe with idea that i will go for 360hz monitor soon or maybe 1440p 240hz. Because now i have 2070s 5600x and sometimes i have like 240 or even more fps, but in the early/mid/end game with a lot of players or big cities i have like 70-120fps and it's so annoying. So my idea is 7800x3d/7900xtx/Dark Rock 4 PRO/ and about ram does it even matter 5200/5600/6000/6400 with 7800x3d?
P.S
PSU: 850W MSI MPG A850GF Gold good enough?
@@DYoneTV what's your budget for this PC? Once I know I can try and pick out parts for you and see if I can fit a better Monitor in there.
@@kelley09162 2000-2500€ but for pc, i will buy monitor later
I have a Sata SSD on its way, but Amazon really slow for some reason (or I perceive it as slow at least) can't wait for my SSD to arrive it's the same Sata SSD you recommended (T-Force Vulcan).
Nice!
@@PCBuilderChannelJason, Which powersupply would you recommend if I got the I5-12600KF, Z790 MSI motherboard, and 16GB DDR4 3200, bundle deal from Microcenter with my existing 1050ti GPU (planning on later upgrading to a 6700XT or 6750XT a bit of time after obtaining that PC parts bundle and yes I am aware of the cultists lists but I would love to hear your opinion)?
I’ve been using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super for the past 4 years now. It preforms just fine for me, but I think I’m gonna upgrade just the GPU for some extra frames, and I’m considering the Intel Arc A580 or A750. I know that the A580 wouldn’t really have any noticeable bottleneck with the 3600, but do you think the extra $30 for the A750 is worth it and would it have better performance than the A580 even though it’s paired with a Ryzen 3600?
I would go A750 if you can afford it. The 6600 is another good choice.
I would go for the three fan sparkle cards of either, keep in mind you might need a bigger power supply cause they take TWO 8pin plugs where as your current video card sips power
Since the other comments have commented on the card itself, I'll comment on the actual compatability of Arc cards and how they feel to use since I have an A770. I've had very few driver issues with the card (all of them are in blender, none in gaming) so you'll be very happy with the card, especially if you play a lot of mainstream titles (Starfield being an exception). Arc also works great for just the daily normal tasks like browsing and watching videos, never had issues there either.
I would definitely recommend an Arc gpu as they are very stable now in my experience.
The A750 with 3600 is a fine combo, the driver on the ARC cards might require some work so if that doesn't appeal to you consider the 6600 as an alternative. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
What about upgrading mother board? Or does upgrading the mother board not help in performance?
It doesn't give any performance upgrade, but if you are switching your motherboards, you are still following each step including bios updates and downloading the network drivers from the official mobo website.
sure broh, its always better to be running top tier Z boards and X boards, full size ATX, get the one with all the bells and whistles: Double Digit readout, reset button, power button, wait for a deep sale to pick em up, get urself something nice 😎
It does not boost performance no if its a modern well paired board, but if there's features you are looking for in a new board that can be helpful if you've already upgraded your other components. See our PC Parts Explained 2024 video for more
im upgrading the psu and motherboard so i can upgrade the gpu and cpu later
I can't find the XMP profile in my legion T5 bios, my ram is running at 4400 but can run at 5000? What do I do world of smart people......
🙂 i believe Lenovo Legion motherboards don't give you the XMP option, the fastest speed is the rated speed for the boards specs and usually to get that speed you have to use only certain brands of sticks usually the plain green sticks or something that close to factory sticks such as crucial, but ask around cause they have different models and maybe some models are less strict

If you're happy with your performance then what you have is good and no need to upgrade.
Just note the logical upgrade path would be a 5700X3D with a higher GPU. Possibly new PSU too but only if timing the wattage in PC Part Picker by 1.5 says you need to.
@@kelley09162 thanks. I mean it’s running the games I want ok to be fair. So I don’t really have much of an issue at the moment.
