I'm surprised there hasn't been a Clue version of this game. Have one player as the killer with clues and red herrings throughout the map that unlock through task completion. I think it'd be fun
it's something that i had been working on years ago a little before among us blew up and got popular. then stupid brain said "nope! it's been done! can't work on it anymore!" despite the concepts being completely different :/
I think the gimmicks are probably more to keep players from getting bored before the viewers. That is part of why they stopped playing vanilla a while ago

Something i realized about among us videos, if i want background noise, i go to the edited videos in the live channel. And if i want to actually watch among us, id go to the replay/vod channel so i can watch everything and make sense of the game. Or just watch live streams (but i always miss them)
@FernTheRobot for me it depends on the game. Among us is a social deduction game and I need to see whole rounds and games to understand what happens in meetings. Tho sometimes it doesn't matter to me and I have like 3 hours to burn on watching an entire vod

Venerer gets stronger after killing, after their first kill they can camouflage, after their second kill they can sprint, and after their third kill they can slow everyone else down. I don't know how these abilities relate to each other or what venerer means though
