Great tutorial, as always. NOW could you tell how to add the ACF fields into Elementor's Archive Template? My Single CPT page works great, and my self-made Archive page works, but there's no obvious way to add the fields to Elementor's Archives. Thanks!

Hi! I have a problem, in 12:05 I can't select the custom post in the field "Select Post Type" because it is not appearing the name of my custom post, and I am trying to create by the "Theme Builder" option of Elementor.

I don't know how to create a searchable database with it. I onow Toolkit can do that but I wait for their major update before making a tutorial.

Hi Ferdi, I have a question - how to ensure the child taxonomies are linked to the parent? In your example, linking 'mansions' (child) to 'kind of house'' (parent)? I am trying to filter posts by parent and child, but for some reason my child taxonomies dont appear in the filter widget.

But after ready, this design people needs to filter their own choice. In this case, how can I make a custom search field using elementor? As like people want to search address-based then square feet based and then some options. Then they click the search button and This result will show based on these inputs. Do you have any solutions to this problem? Is it possible to make custom search fields?

I have a question. (Reference: at 12:06) Why is that "Single" but not "page" or other options for the templates like this (directory / profile page)? I have looked at other tutorials and see the same but I haven't seen the reason.
Is that for the purpose we want to make the single profile page for each penthouse? What will that be if we choose "page"?

I'm afraid I have a problem. I have created my own fields and can also enter them in a new post.
But if I want to insert "dynamic" in Elementor and the content "dynamic" at a headline, this text will not appear on the page. But I can select the user-defined field.

I have a taxonomy issue, in your video at 10:07 you see that the "add" button is next to your taxonomy of Penthouses...but in mine I don't have that all and I followed each step, the Archive setting you tick as true in the settings is also gone. Can you please help, as I hav load my catagories, my taxonomy, but it won't take. :/ Otherwise all your advise is so awsome and works, love your tutorials.

How do I get fullscreen without the sidebars on oceanwp while using custom post type on single posts ? Yours shows fullscreen but mine is having the sidebar and it is difficult to remove. Thanks as you helpout

This no longer works. At 12:05 when you are making a new template, then select single, there isn't a second dropdown to select "post type" anymore - Sept. 2020.

Ferdy, I am not sure whether you are still monitoring this site but I just tried to do what you showed and I failed miserably. I am sure it has to do with the newest versions of everything in WordPress as I am not even able to replicate the most basic editing.
E.g. when I try to create the initial posts to be used later on for the template I get an editing screen vastly different from what you show. E.g. mine does not have the sidebar with categories and featured image. And my initial template does not automatically show one of these special posts created for this purpose.
And I have not figured out how to use the taxonomies that I successfully created as you show in the video. These taxonomies do not show up anywhere and I desperately want to use them. Very disappointing experience.
If someone has any helpful suggestions for a WordPress newbie it would be very much appreciated.

BEWARE! I installed the Custom Fields plugin and 5 minutes later my site with blocked and I only got this message:
403
Forbidden.
Access to this resource on the server is denied!
I contacted my server and they said my site got infected with WP_VCD strand of malware and that the best way to fix it is to start over from scratch. OMG I got a headache!!

No fields are coming up in Elementor even though I was able to add the field information on the 'Edit' screen. I am working with basic text atm and using shortcodes worked which leads me believe there is a problem with Elementor?
I had the same problem and I just changed the name of the Custom Field group to a unique name and not a generic one like Post or Portfolio or Page etc. Good luck!

Hi Ferdy! GREAT JOB as usual! QUESTION: do you notice, that when you change to a fixed image, it cuts off the top of the image some. For the penthouses, that may not be much of a problem, for a picture of "people" it can cut off their heads. Do you know of a way around that issue? THANKS!!! Tim
