Sicily the home of my ancestors and where my Nonno and Nonna still reside.
Gorgeous land, beautiful to see you're proud and honoring your origins!!

Thank you brother!!!
Great job. "Sicily the best of the best". Agree.
Everything is so delicious here!
@@davandj O you don't have to tell me, but I am glad you did. Their isn't anyplace better, or even close to it really, except in the rest of Italy naturally. Italy is Food Heaven, amongst other things as well.
I know! I always put extra weight here but no regrets!
Mi manca la Sicilia. And yes, Sicilian street food is great.
We will have an extra arancino for you too bro! ✌🏻🍙
Hey Bro, how much Basmati rice can you ingurgitate in a month 😀😀😀
Hahaha a good amount but never as much as pasta! it was the first item that came to my mind in the car after groceries cause it was almost 3x than in Spain 😂😂
Of you were visiting Sicily for a week, where or what seaside town would you base yourself?
That's a great question! It'll depend on where you land as East and West aren't very well connected and if you're not driving it'll take you a half day just to cross to the other side.
If you land in Catania, I would do a day trip to Taormina from there to check out the Greek theatre and the town (a must!). Then depends on what you're into, if you are after beaches Siracusa would be a great choice. The City itself is beautiful and the nearby San Lorenzo, Calamosche and Vendicari beaches are gorgeous. And if you want to swap things up while in Siracusa you can do day trips to nearby Noto, Marzamemi or Scicli. (Esp if you're into architecture)
If you land in Palermo, you could use Palermo as a base and from there move to Riserva dello Zingaro for natural beauty and definitely do a day trip to the beach town of Cefalù. Mondello beach near Palermo is very nice, if you're more into history and culture from there is easy to reach the Greek Temples in Agrigento or Selinunte :)
We will do some videos about itineraries both for East and West Sicily, it's quite a big island! Lots to cover :)
@@davandj You’ve been very helpful. Thank you so much.
Always happy to help!
Aspra! It's in the Palermo region.
@@salvatorespilletti4063 Aspra is incredibly beautiful!!
it will costs you 26 bodies monthly for Cosa Nostra
Homicide rate in Italy is 0.5
Germany 0.8
France 1.1
USA 6.4
That's a great point!! Sicily is incredibly safe and beautiful like the rest of Italy. If I had to choose between walking alone at night in downtown Palermo vs LA, San Francisco or New York I would choose Palermo in a heartbeat, way way safer!
Fear mongering will keep you very, very safe ...just keep sleeping under that rock 😀😀😀
@@HEMI345S Mafia there putts lot of bodies under rocks and dirt if they can find it there without rocks
@@Mr11ESSE111 Same like Boeing does with their whistle blowers here, in the land of the free 😀😀😀
