Jerry Goldsmith's music for "The Omen Trilogy" (yes, I said TRILOGY) is AWESOME. I do tend to lean toward his score to "Damien: Omen II" more though.

The most symphonic of the Omen trilogy of scores Goldsmith wrote for the franchise. Each has it`s singular virtues, The Final Conflict feels almost Biblical in many of the tracks, though the Devilish darkness is never far distant. Like a fine wine this soundtrack has aged accordingly, a masterpiece written by a genius.

The Actor who played Damien as an Adult would have been perfect to have played Bart Winslow in the Dollanager Saga.

As usual Jerry Goldsmith was on top form. The movie however, in comparison to its two predecessor's, was a total drag in my opinion. Also, Sam Niell's performance was far too theatrical for my liking in some scenes. For example, when he was chatting away to his Jesus statue. Again though, brilliant score from the late great Mr Goldsmith.

The Final Conflict in my opinion is the most underrated horror movie sequel. Yes it has flaws but the film makes up for it for the plot, Sam Neil’s performance, and the music score is what makes it great. I think the first three omen films make a great horror trilogy as they really do feel like one large story.
