My first husband was like that too, never excited or happy having kids with me. We were married and I wanted kids. He would use protection with me so I got mad and poked holes in all his condoms. After 10 years together and 2 kids we divorced. He remarried in 3 months time and they have 2 kids as well. So it’s not that he didn’t want kids, but he didn’t want a life with me.
