to see the "csgo_complex" shader, uncheck "show preferred shader" at the bottom of the prompt.
another thing is that the images do not need to be a square. As long as they have power of 2 dimensions, they will work

thank you. I asked around and heres what i found:
when you are in the material editor - at the very top you should see "attributes". In there you can change "surface property" to whatever you want. In your case it would be ice i presume

Where did you get your shaders? I'm trying to make a self illuminate texture but I don't see any PBR drop down for any of the current default shaders.

okay i just realised that cs2 hammer uses something different. I dont know how to do it and i gotta do some research and ask around
how can I import custom textures from another map?
you need to open the map in source2viewer and decompile its assets
@@ReDMooNTVV is it possible to import textures from a csgo .bsp into cs2? I'm using vpkedit, but some of the textures show as black squares. specifically trying to get the textures from ze_Aoraitsu
@@Swoots275 you will need to use the python script that ports s1 maps to s2. It's very tedious and complicated from what ive seen, but absolutely doable
i am sure there are plenty of tutorials on youtube that shows how to do that. I personally havent tried it by myself since it's too complicated
