NTTS, as an ex-member of the roblox dark market, i greatly appreciate this video. Ive seen tons of people get scammed this way. I would’ve thought these scammers would not be dumb enough to name their channels so obvious. I also love how you tie previous scams, like the join servers for you scam, into this scam. From the surface level, i would have never known about these in depth little methods. I only knew how MMs are often scammers. Speaking of scammers…. There used to be an older cross trading server where the owner and mm owned an entire company cross trading. They started off legit, then they started scamming the people who actually paid them and trusted them. Eventually their server and company fell off.
i suddenly feel like radically discriminating against a group of people in order to amass a political following and rule a nation in dictatorial fashion
The sad reason Discord will never fix the join servers for you issue is because they think it's a good feature when it's not. I can't even imagine any sort of legitimate purpose that you'd be using a bot like that for other than to scam. If you want in a server you join the server
I actually had my account used for one of these scams once! I had a few people friend me because they thought I was a middleman, and when I joined the server to say, "Hey I own the account this guy is using," the imposter was immediately banned. I didn't know this was a widespread thing, I thought he was just an idiot.

middlemen exist in other roblox games, but both parties send their item to the middleman. and they're also usually appointed by the official devs/game's discord mods.
i know i’m REALLY late, like months late, but i used to be one of these roblox scammer guys. uhm here’s how i personally got into this, and the insider info. was scammed back in late 2020 irrc for a genshin acc. then, like you said, i was recruited to become one of those scammer guys. instead of using this weird bot vouches, we used alts and vouched for each other. but, we also used this ticket bot to get rid of everything almost entirely. the channels were deleted and made into logs for the owner to see. instead of the mm taking the account, they just shared their screen in a vc and gave all the account info, details, etc. in a vc. to be honest, i don’t play genshin nor will i ever but some people (the owner specifically) had made THOUSANDS, i mean like thousands, of dollars usd by scamming accounts (idv, genshin, roblox, etc.) or items (usually in roblox) online and then selling them on ebay or other online shop platforms. but, their family was struggling financially with family issues. for most of the other mms, it was the same. they were either in a 3rd world country where the money there was limited, struggling financially or just greedy/lazy and didn’t want to work. it isn’t an excuse, but it just gives some background info about how some people get into these scams. so how i felt doing this. i didn’t do it for fun, but i was very *very* greedy back then. i constantly looked for validation from peers, people online, other scammers (mainly), etc. doing this made me feel like i was ‘helping’ people, and important. that time was a bad time in my life anyway which i get this dreadful feeling looking back upon. also , for context, i have this thing wrong with my brain that makes it hard to feel empathy or sympathy sometimes, so if that gives any excuse. it’s something close to sociopathy, but i know now that doing that kind of stuff produces a permanent consequence, and shouldn’t be done again. this. so, how do you not get scammed? there’s certain techniques that we used to use, like editing our mm profiles to make it look legit (aka. making it look pretty) . also, i saw this mentioned in another comment: the server called ksf is a really good server to check discord uids, and discord server ids! make sure you always check. i do not associate myself with the cross trading community anymore, and would prefer to never have my name associated with it again. i do regret my actions, but i just needed to get this off my chest by just sharing this with anyone here. i would like it if no one else was scammed, so if you need to, then ask questions in the replies/comments. sorry if the english/grammar is bad, english isn’t my first language! ❤
You know what, props to you for owning up to your actions and exposing the information. I hope you are able to relay this message onto further forums or anywhere honestly. It's honestly reasonable that you brought up the money issue, I can see how being financially unstable and living in a third world country drives people to be greedy. It just means they let greed get to them and became lazy. I hope you're able to get the sociopath thing sorted out, maybe some form of therapy? Either way, whatever works for you and good for you for realizing it. I have a question though, even though you said it's hard for you to feel empathy, do you still feel guilt for scamming those people? Have you ever tried to apologize to anybody or the victims? And what about the other scammers, do they still scam? Did you ever try to get them to stop too like yourself? I honestly loathe scammers and I don't care if you're from a struggling third world country, a lot of low-income people work so hard legally and in the right way to get to where they are, and then there's scammers scamming people because it's easier or they don't wanna put that energy into a real job. I will never understand it, but I can understand from your POV how you got sucked into being one since you mentioned the whole hard to feel empathy thing, maybe it's the reason too for a lot of these scammers. Nonetheless, I can never forgive scammers easily as I used to be scam as a kid but I will give props if they stop and realize their mistakes and learn from it, because many scammers don't even own up to what they did or keep doing it. That's the best course of action, as long as you realize your mistakes and learn, keep trying to be a better person. And your English is fine btw!
As a person who used to be one of these. They bot their servers so it looks bigger, its not the join servers for you. You can bot your server extremely easily with certain servers
I'm starting to think that Discord gets a cut of the money, so they choose to ignore the "Join servers for you" permission. This permission is so stupid... It's literally THE most abused "feature" on Discord...
They do, it's called increased user activity. It's the same reason youtube leaves flagrant rule breakers up, the improved metrics outweigh any public backlash.
@@Archimedes.5000 The permission is stupid, because the risks outweigh the benefits. Most people that know of this permission either watch this channel or have issues because of it. Nobody uses the permission except for scammers. That's why the permission is stupid. People don't use it, unless they want to do some sketchy stuff
@@TestAccount666what risks? There are no risks to joining a server besides getting false reported which is a separate issue altogether. Besides again, permission cannot be "risky" as long as it's not misleading, and here it literally says what it does
@@Archimedes.5000 Getting false reported is way more common with this permission. People don't read. They just want to "verify" on the cool discord server they just joined. Sure, you could argue it's the users fault, but is it really? Discord knows people don't read, but chooses to ignore. The permission is also risky because it allows malicious people to look professional without any effort. Their malicious discord server gets banned? No problem! They just need a second to completely restore it
The funny thing is that people call me a scammer when I literally give free items in games where you can make things as jobs- I'm sitting here like "bro you already have it in your hands how's it a scam?"
im... pretty sure my cousin was at the top of one of these servers or something. All I know is that he made around $70k from shady stuff on Roblox. @@MEGABLOCKER it was years ago before I even thought about him being a scammer. I really don't know much besides that he had burner phones and credit cards and im pretty sure he wasn't even lying about the $70k
reading this whole thread makes me realize one thing, scammers have way too much time bro. They could be putting all this energy in a REAL job and career, instead of doing illegal shit that could leave permanent digital footprint
NTTS i just started watching your vids and they are amazing because they teach me stuff that i could possibly be unaware of unlike the ratters.. those are obvious.
hey. at 7:00 you said that you can make 50$ in like 5 hours. but in hungary, (my country), india and other poor countries, making 50$ in 2-3 days is considered a high paying job. so thats pretty good. especially if a 12 year old goober can do it
0:49, I do think it is wrong to encourage this type of 'gameplay' to kids. But the reason Roblox allows it is because by definition you must have a chance to lose in gambling, however with the lootbox thing you will always win even if it's something worse than what you wanted. This is technically a loophole but all you need to know is that because it is not a textbook example of gambling, Roblox allows it.
I only use Discord for counting numbers. I played a Vampire the mascarade V through the app too, but when I saw your channel about Discord I got hooked!
Actually a few months ago I clicked on a discord nitro gift, because I thought someone from one of the servers I’m in gifted me. After I clicked on the “accept” button I was pretty confused, but I let it go thinking it was processing. The next day I woke up to my account getting added to an 18+ server.Over the week this kept happening.I realized that I was getting hacked and thank fully, I figured out how to remove it😭
Hi! A staff of a trading server! Middlemans are commonly impersonated and we often need to ban them from servers (they cannot appeal for the ban either) Just reccomend to use mutual servers if using a middleman, and to check out their proofs of their own personal middleman service server (all middlemans have it), and we always have a ticket transcript. Becoming a middleman puts a lot of trust on the user, so impersonating/faking is more worth doing since it usually requires over 30+ trades and verification in multiple servers. I myself do not qualify to become one in the slightest, so I cannot answer the struggles of being a middleman
Another reason companies explicitly prohibit RMT is due to the potential of money laundering. Diablo III and Runescape have had massive issues with criminals turning ill-gotten funds into clean money. Goes like this: - criminal finds no-lives in game, usually high-level players that play for hours a day - offers to send them cash via mail. - in exchange, the player grinds a decided upon number of items and trades them with various alts controlled by the criminal. - criminal sells the items on marketplaces, making it appear as the funds were gotten by some no life clan or kid. scaling this up can be a bit tricky and can cause a significant loss of profits but for a criminal it's just the cost of doing business. any game that has any form of legal real-world marketplace for items is subject to this. these games have taken active steps to prevent it by outright banning second party trading or using AI to try and detect laundering.
the fact that their middlemen dont have the middleman take payment AND item, then distribute- and instead have them collect the item, then the buyer send the payment directly to the seller.... that screams scam in and of itself. it defeats the purpose of a middleman
speaking of roblox the service known as guilded recently forced us to make roblox accounts to continue using the service so now everyone is mad and is bailing on the forced change
7:15 How do you tell so quickly that it's an alt? Please bro I don't wanna get banned from a server I'm not doing nothing illegal, just it's a game and I have an alt there.
at 5:45, they might be bot but there are also some kind of macro that spam discord message over and over for you on different account because on some black market they have message cooldown (those macro often include the real trader user and make it bold like "Dont DM this account, DM @someone if interested")
I met a lot of roblox admins when I was a little kid, right around the time they removed tickets (TIX) from the game. They were straight up politicians and their masks were so obvious that even as a little kid I felt disgusted meeting them. I was in shock when I met stickmasterluke and was like ohh he must be so cool. Nope. It's exactly what you'd expect from a company like that.
@@Septembermoodddd Idk how to describe it other than superficial. Fake smiles and behavior, all on the surface. They just said what they thought you would like to hear. I asked about the tix thing and they just brushed it off and gave me the political response of "I can't say exactly but there's a very good reason why it was done!" and when I criticized the decision they just gave me the cold shoulder like "ok yeah move on kid". I mean he didn't even wanna talk about the games he created with me, I used to play them everyday after school and loved it. I was only around 9-10 years old at the time but even then I could tell it felt like a non-genuine interaction, and it became more clear to me as I started doing more activities and helping kids as I got older (20 now).
@@Septembermoodddd Right but you'd think people who create games would be fun and interesting and wouldn't be fake asf. At least that's what my naive way of thinking used to be like. I make an effort to never be superficial or fake with people...especially because of experiences like the one I had with the roblox admins irl.
13:21 Fun little fact about Roblox: they don’t do anything about other websites that let you buy and sell items. They only care if you use the website, but even then, their moderation sucks
15:56 the fact this bot is turkish and has a join command made SPECIFICALLY to make the turkish accounts join servers just makes me ashamed of being in this country.
So glad you're making this !! I remember commenting about this before !! I cross trade, and I've gotten scammed LOTS of times. A way to avoid getting scammed is a server called KSF.
I still remember going into these servers about 4 years ago and scamming kids for their adopt me pets. Honestly, I don't think it's a big deal, it gives them a lesson and I can understand if discord has other stuff to do than taking care of these little problems. Roblox also mentions to never cross-trade anything and if you decide to go against that, then you're at fault and anything that happens to you is your fault.
um.. how is it not a big deal to scam? whether or not you're scamming something small or big, it's still a form of scam and you and any other scammers (previously or not) could have tendencies to do other forms of scams down the line. That's honestly a bad mindset to have that "it gives them a lesson", the lesson for you is you shouldn't be scamming innocent kids of anything, you're also at fault for starting the scam initiation. Yall are the reason why these scams continue to exist because it teaches people to just scam their way to get what they want and taking advantage of lil kids. It's a bit close-minded to think these little problems don't add up to be something bigger, especially since his videos show that. You should be taking accountability, not trying to defend it...
In a way I see Roblox scammers as a good thing. They teach kids about the danger of scams from first-hand experience before they are adults and have more the lose.
Is there like a legitimate good reason why the “join servers for you” actually exists? So far it’s always been something negative or pretty much “made for scammers”, but why did discord make it/ allow it to exist in the first place? And why haven’t they removed the feature cuz as we can see there are tons of scam servers.
It exists for the same reason why every other permission exists... If you can do something on your account then you should be able to delegate it to a bot

- Don't trust any MM server that has 50K/100K members (usually botted)
- A lot of AMP (Adopt Me) MM servers usually have an invite link like (.gg/am_ // amd/ams/amp/amt etc.)
- The biggest red flag is when the channels are closed and/or a majority of the server has suspicious users (once again botted)
- Another thing is that a lot of the times the people inviting you/hitters have an extra role to get access to the hitter channels (however in modern MMS they usually blend in with the normal role)
But the biggest thing I would recommend is to just stay away from crosstrading [if you REALLY want to / I don't recommend it but / you should definitely do your research on the server, and ask for proofs from the person (a.k.a. "join me ingame and show me that you have the items" since they typically don't, or ask the MM to show you proof they got the item / however this is just a small check of legitimacy as they usually have fake proofs like in the video]

"Join server for you" strike again
The sad reason Discord will never fix the join servers for you issue is because they think it's a good feature when it's not. I can't even imagine any sort of legitimate purpose that you'd be using a bot like that for other than to scam. If you want in a server you join the server
I actually had my account used for one of these scams once! I had a few people friend me because they thought I was a middleman, and when I joined the server to say, "Hey I own the account this guy is using," the imposter was immediately banned. I didn't know this was a widespread thing, I thought he was just an idiot.

i know i’m REALLY late, like months late, but i used to be one of these roblox scammer guys. uhm here’s how i personally got into this, and the insider info.
was scammed back in late 2020 irrc for a genshin acc. then, like you said, i was recruited to become one of those scammer guys. instead of using this weird bot vouches, we used alts and vouched for each other. but, we also used this ticket bot to get rid of everything almost entirely. the channels were deleted and made into logs for the owner to see. instead of the mm taking the account, they just shared their screen in a vc and gave all the account info, details, etc. in a vc.
to be honest, i don’t play genshin nor will i ever but some people (the owner specifically) had made THOUSANDS, i mean like thousands, of dollars usd by scamming accounts (idv, genshin, roblox, etc.) or items (usually in roblox) online and then selling them on ebay or other online shop platforms. but, their family was struggling financially with family issues. for most of the other mms, it was the same. they were either in a 3rd world country where the money there was limited, struggling financially or just greedy/lazy and didn’t want to work. it isn’t an excuse, but it just gives some background info about how some people get into these scams.
so how i felt doing this. i didn’t do it for fun, but i was very *very* greedy back then. i constantly looked for validation from peers, people online, other scammers (mainly), etc. doing this made me feel like i was ‘helping’ people, and important. that time was a bad time in my life anyway which i get this dreadful feeling looking back upon. also , for context, i have this thing wrong with my brain that makes it hard to feel empathy or sympathy sometimes, so if that gives any excuse. it’s something close to sociopathy, but i know now that doing that kind of stuff produces a permanent consequence, and shouldn’t be done again. this.
so, how do you not get scammed? there’s certain techniques that we used to use, like editing our mm profiles to make it look legit (aka. making it look pretty) . also, i saw this mentioned in another comment: the server called ksf is a really good server to check discord uids, and discord server ids! make sure you always check. i do not associate myself with the cross trading community anymore, and would prefer to never have my name associated with it again. i do regret my actions, but i just needed to get this off my chest by just sharing this with anyone here. i would like it if no one else was scammed, so if you need to, then ask questions in the replies/comments.
sorry if the english/grammar is bad, english isn’t my first language!
How can a permission be stupid?
The only stupid thing here is rεταrds who don't read what they are agreeing to
@@Archimedes.5000
The permission is stupid, because the risks outweigh the benefits.
Besides again, permission cannot be "risky" as long as it's not misleading, and here it literally says what it does
@@Archimedes.5000
Getting false reported is way more common with this permission.

NTTS, trying to make a video that will block a lot of scam dc servers, you have just shot a whole guide on how to become a scammer. Perfect!

Hi! A staff of a trading server! Middlemans are commonly impersonated and we often need to ban them from servers (they cannot appeal for the ban either)
Just reccomend to use mutual servers if using a middleman, and to check out their proofs of their own personal middleman service server (all middlemans have it), and we always have a ticket transcript.

Goes like this:
- criminal finds no-lives in game, usually high-level players that play for hours a day
- offers to send them cash via mail.

How are you not hired at discord yet?

Best part about this all is that roblox wont do anything about this!!!!!
What’s Roblox supposed to do? Scavenger hunt thru discord to stop the scammers?
In a way I see Roblox scammers as a good thing. They teach kids about the danger of scams from first-hand experience before they are adults and have more the lose.
Is there like a legitimate good reason why the “join servers for you” actually exists? So far it’s always been something negative or pretty much “made for scammers”, but why did discord make it/ allow it to exist in the first place? And why haven’t they removed the feature cuz as we can see there are tons of scam servers.
It exists for the same reason why every other permission exists...
If you can do something on your account then you should be able to delegate it to a bot
Its insane that people still fall for middle man scams theyve been around forever, as far back as old school mmos
