Mate, you ARE the energy. You're transmitting your humour and positivity across the world and into space. You're cheering us all up and making us think along the way. Thank you.
Those thistles tugged my heartstrings and brought back a great memory of my oldest son who we lost 5 years ago. When he was about 3 we were on a country walk and I pointed out the fluffy seeds, blowing in the wind and told him, “that’s thistle down.” He replied, “no Mum, it’s thistle up “ Great video as always. Much love.
Happiness is a day when you see a Haze Outdoors video that’s 45min long 😊 You just know it’s going to lift you, inspire you and you are certainly going to be entertained ❤️🙏🙂 You’re the best tonic a person needs to get them through tough times. After watching your Cleveland Way I packed a bag and did a section of the South West Coast Path in Cornwall, it was wonderful solitude and did my mental health the world of good. Cheers, Hazy
I bumped into you on the Cleveland way…not literally…on line…I am 70, female and live in the Caribbean…a Caribbean Queen you might say. i love your long distance videos best but I love all your videos. Your sense of humor is amazing. Your love for humanity is inspiring. Your love for nature and all she offers makes me emotional. In other words I love you. Be safe always because I want to keep spending time with you and leave no trace. ❤
You’re the best bushcraft/hiking channel on TH-cam, for me. Full banter, knowledge, awareness, and advice. I can’t relate to you on a Yorkshire level. Love watching your videos. Very inspiring, a just a good laugh. I go with my best pal Jim, we’re A.k.a billy n Barry bushcraft. Got bless. An keep it real boo!
I really enjoy your child-like wonder when you see something fantastic (kingfisher). I feel the same way when I marvel at Mother Nature. Your introspection about self and life in general is food for thought. Great hike, great filming, superb chat. 👌
Hazey, you remind of the daft lad on The Fast show, years ago, BRILLIANT !!…, ain’t festivals brilliant, ain’t red kites brilliant !, ain’t hiking brilliant !, ain’t gate latches brilliant ! etc. sooo funny mate. Another BRILLIANT video mate, so positive, love it, can’t wait for part 2, you are the shining sun in the middle of another dull day.
Another great video Haze, I am 64 and always been a hiker but only really started wildcamping about ten years ago, your walk to Cape Wrath was an inspiration for me, wish I was 30 years younger. Keep up the good walk mate.
Watch all your videos, but this is my first ever comment. You're getting so good at this and clearly so comfortable and zen in your own skin that your personality shines so much that you're making a pretty poor scenic trek (for your standards) epic. Well done!
Again Hazey..top tier content! I was one of the many shitsacks at BoomTown this year and knowing you were doing this walk and would be passing by at somepoint was thoroughly amusing to me! spared you a thought now and again wondering how you were getting on in the heat...it was really was bloody hot! My step counter said I covered 105 miles from Wednesday through to Monday morning, a bumbag full of electrolytes of sorts sure helped! great to see you on the uploads again! Look forward to the next one!! Xx
Walked the SDW myself about 7 weeks ago...my first ever multi-day & loved it. So much so I’ve literally just come back from doing the WHW last week & climbing up The Ben. You’re one of the first people that got me interested in hiking & it’s been the best thing I could’ve ever done for my headspace, so for that I sincerely thank you.
Hey Haze, Oh my days you truly make me laugh with your sense of humour and your cracking of jokes. Your positive energy is such a joy to watch. The way you chat to us through a lens is awesome. Heat stroke or not i truly believe in what you was saying in believing in the universe and manifestation. I'm a Pagan and have been for about 8 years now and this is what i believe also. Everything will always come full circle. Watching your videos make my day. You are truly a breath of fresh air. Good on ya Mate. I'v just watched "Girl outdoors" and saw you in that challenge up the Cairngorms which looked amazing. As always take care and be well mate.
Thanks Paul. Please keep on making these videos, I always look forward to your next adventure. When I’m out and about on my bike, and I see a dead animal, I now shout “MEDIC”, wonder where I got that from, 😂.
We have all been tempted by a shiny hard shoulder with freshly painted lines and a newly shaved hedge but latches and locks are a love that’s true. Put it back in your trousers Haze-o and we will say no more about it 😉
Doesn't sound nuts at all mate. It keeps you in a state of wonder and it's a beautiful thing. Only just discovered your channel and I'm binge-watching - great stuff, thank you.
You and Sarah Fit for Adventure are really the only outdoors vloggers on YT with any kind of personality. Drone shots, endless walk by shots, it's so boring. It's what's inside that counts ✊
You're spoiling us mate, looking forward to settling in and binging the series once it's finished. (After watching them all once or twice individually, of course.)
Your vids mate. Crack me up. My daughter's sat doing her maths homework while you're vibing Treelaphones and she's buzzing off it. Good vibes. Keep up with the heat stroke it's proper.
Good job man, Fern is a beautiful girl, bet she helps keep your head straight 👍🏻 Hopefully the heat breaks soon! I know I’m ready for the heat to be gone!
This weekend I walked the Sandstone Trail in Cheshire and their latch and locks were painted yellow too. Obviously a thing spreading across the country.
Opening yourself to possibilities and the unknown, in every way (even if it's what's over this next hill). Great vid as always Hazey, the latches and medics are quintessential you, and they are important!
I bet that Neck Oil was nectar! My favourite beer. Proper Job comes a close second. I fancy that walk, but at 56, I would take 5 days. Possibly 6, if Neck Oil is abundant. Great vlog, once again. I have watched a few, so I think it is time to subscribe. Cheers.
You've left me feeling very old. I walked the South Downs way back in 1982, when I was 12 years old, with a couple of school mates. However back then the entire part you've walked in this video didn't get added on till much later. Good times and clap clap clap if you know what I mean.
Mad head! Love it. Positive energy dude. And an ale in glass that took me back to being a kid, when my auntie, from Doncaster who lived in Bath used to give us orange juice in glasses with similar designs on. I could even remember the Victoria plum tree in the huge garden. All from that glass. Flashbacks eh. Great little video. Check it out the lad has some little crackers hid about.
Just found your channel, enjoyed this vid, that was the perfect mix of entertainment, love the banter throughout the video, MEDIC! 😄 Looking forward to watching more of your stuff 👍
Eyup Hazy, been looking forward to this one and it did not disappointment Great craic, great views and the whit of Yorkshires legendary outdoorsman 🤣🤣 cheers Lee
Great videos, great banter thumbs up to joey too when he can make it, your just sound to earth full of humility. Watched so many Paul. Your always class too. Look forward too more. I'm started a course on latch n locks your invited to my dragon den pitch haha
Lovely area the South downs way, walked it once myself. Some places are a bit funny about wild campers, get off my land types but it's a beautiful part of the world, glad you got round to it.
Had such a crap week, your video couldn't have popped up at a better time. Honestly, you and the countryside, albeit for a little while have brightened me up, always do..Fern seems great too, following her on Insta now. Cheers mate 👍
Red kites are everywhere where I live. Galloway forest. There’s a feeding station 5 mins from my house and they swarm there. And I mean SWARM….I’d guess over 100 of them. I’m used to it now, but it is really cool!
Love these long distance hike videos Hazy. Livingg vicariously through your adventures this summer! Looking for the next adventure after doing the WHW last year. Hopefully you can get Joey Von D on the next trip into the unknown
Well done for mentioning the squirrels with flick knives. People need to know how dangerous it is out there. Also that cow that ignored you should have got a speed bagging..🥊🍒🗡🐿👌👈🙏❤
I did this last year after watching some of your videos and can't wait to watch this series to bring back some memories. Thanks for all your great vids!
Mate, you ARE the energy. You're transmitting your humour and positivity across the world and into space. You're cheering us all up and making us think along the way. Thank you.
Makes me a bit emo that mate. Thank you
Keep thinking m8🤙🎊
