    Replace the lug nuts with thin metal overlays (if your rig has these) with solid ones. TPMS system (I used the Ford OEM sensors). Weather cover for the jack head.

    We found the closet in our Flying Cloud 20FB to be pretty much useless. We just don't travel with many hanging clothes. So I added adjustable shelves to the space. Now nearly all our clothes can be folded and stashed in an "armoire" in our cabin on wheels. If we want to return it to a closet, I can remove 8 screws, replace the bar, and it's back to factory spec.

      We have thought about adding shelves but haven’t done it yet. You may have changed our mind. 👍

    Great trailer modifications. The products really make life in an Airstream much easier. Our trailer has the Snap Pads, the Mopeka and the No Lox. Our trailer will eventually be upgraded with the Skylights. Next up is the easy start. Of course we have an Airboard Edge Storage Shelf installed in the L P Cover to convert the unused space above the tanks into useful storage space. 👍

    These are all great upgrades. Interestingly, the only one we have is the Micro Air Easy Start. One great but cheap upgrade for those with the manual Zip Dee awning is the assist handles. It totally makes raising and lowering the awning easy especially when on a downslope. Safe travels.

      Great recommendation. I will have to checkout the assist handles. Where can they be found?

    The snap pads, man those are something we keep considering getting but haven't pulled the trigger yet! We definitely see the benefit, maybe this video convinced us to do it 😬

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I wouldn’t go on a long hike without shoes on my feet, so I figured I need something to help protect the AS stabilizer jacks while camping and the Snap Pads have been great. No more carrying a truckload of wooden blocks around. Safe travels

    • @dxs5956
      @dxs5956 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thewrightlife What is the purpose of these or any pads/blocks (unless you're in a mud hole)? I only put something under my stabs if it happens to be in a mud hole. I've never had any issues. What am I missing here? Great show btw, and thx for your service.

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dxs5956 The company would tell you that their SNAP Pads eliminate the need for the plastic or wooden blocks, increases the surface area of your stabilizer jacks, conforms better to uneven surfaces, and provides an electrical insulation to your rig. That said, I chose to install then mainly to protect the feet on my stabilizer jacks as they were beginning to rust were getting bent from being in direct contact with the ground. Also they allowed me to stop caring around wooden blocks that I had previously used. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and safe travels.

    We have been in our 27ft 2021 globetrotter for 10 months also. Did the lock protection. But discovered that the screen hit the latch and was causing issues. I would like the sensor for the propane. We went out once and experienced propane lock which had an easy resolution. I would love the level bluetooth. Any ideas about backup screen replacement due to the previous owner losingit? I want the snap pads.

      Thanks for watching. We have been very happy with all of these upgrades / additions. Unfortunately, we can’t provide any insights on replacement camera monitors. We still have the original monitor. Safe travels

    How do you change the battery on the propane sensor? Is it a easily available battery?

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wayne, I’ve not needed to replace the battery in our LPG sensors, but I believe it’s a simple task. They use standard “watch” batteries that you can easily get at any Big Box store. Thanks for watching and happy camping.

    I thought that all Airstream (in what it paid for) had the leveler for a long time but sound like only power jack, right? I didn't know about it. Does it have options available to add to it? Am I wrong?

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To my understanding the LevelMate Pro does not come as an option with any Airstreams, but I am sure a dealer could / would add it as an aftermarket upgrade if requested (and paid for). That said, the levelmate pro is very easy to install and makes set up and leveling the airstream a breeze. Well worth the investment.

    As a future Airstream owner - it's unacceptable that you had to replace skylights at 6 years. Is your Airstream outside 24/7?

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  ปีที่แล้ว

      We chose to replace the skylights as a preventative measure. We didn’t want to want until there was a problem that would cause additional repairs. To be fair to Airstream the OEM skylights could have lasted several more years. As for UV exposure, since we have owned the Airstream (going on 2 yrs) it has been outside 24/7 as we are full time travelers. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

    Boomer !!!! NO way on earth Froli Sleep System is worth $400

    • @thewrightlife
      @thewrightlife  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can definitely see your point. Initially we thought the same. However, for us the alternative was to spend a few thousand dollars on replacement mattresses. We chose to go with the Froli system with the OEM mattresses and have been happy with the results. Thanks for watching and your comments. Safe travels.
