That 25.7M for Manila is actually Metro Manila + four neighboring provinces(Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal and Laguna) called the Greater Manila Area. Metro Manila itself has 12 million people.

Houston really only has 2.32M. All of these numbers are BS, they do not reflect the population of the city, but instead, the city plus a much wider area beyond. City populations should only reflect the city proper not the wider metro area. (Suburbs)

I'm Canadian. Metropolitan Toronto is just under 4 million. The number they said. 7. something million. That's about the population of the entire province.
