Nice job. Can't tell what RPM you're using due to frame rate - should be as fast as you can spin. Suggestion: Find another way to hold that down - screwed from underneath to fixture plate, for example. And get out of the very bad habit of putting your hand that close while the machine is running. One day you'll do something in steel and (because this is HABIT) you'll have your hand in there, and a sudden stringy chip will fly out and slice you up. Or you make a CAM mistake and break a bit and it flies into you...... Finally - how bout a blast of air to clean those chips away.... Just speaking from a little experience here. What you did worked and turned out great. Now make it out of hardwood for much better appearance and finish!

Thanks for your advice, yep i know i need more RPM's! Trying to work on that!

Wow, the PM25MV CNC did an excellent 3D carving on this. I planning to get the same mill and convert it to a CNC, it will be the most logical investment get both worlds of metal and wood tasks. The spindle is driven at what RPM? Not sure how I can change it to obtain 30K RPM, I know there are speed multipliers but they are expensive. If I did inlays on a cutting board what would be the max mill area that could be obtained?

You may be able to change pulley size to get more rpms out of it
