Hi. I have problem on my camera. The power went off when in update the firmware. Now I can't connect to the camera. Can you direct me what I should do?
Had issues with plugins on Chrome & Firefox, & tried Opera, with no luck. Found Internet Explorer on Windows 10 via the Win-R keys & iexplore. Worked like a charm. Thank you! Your video was extremely helpful. My dlink DCS932L no longer streamed a video, just the dreaded 'x' with a firmware message; drove me nuts ;)
Now, I do like these videos. I came across this while just searching on the changes made through each firmware upgrade. But, I would like to say that if you don't know how to upgrade the firmware on something, you should just leave it alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That old saying has never been more true when talking about BIOS and firmware updates. Seriously, you may gain an extra option (or lose two) updating the BIOS on your motherboard, but if there's nothing new that you need or even want, just leave it all alone. I've never GAINED anything by updating the firmware, and if anything, I've just gained problems or lost features.
This product is junk. it just doesn't work out of the box. The setting page - I was lucky to see it once, but then it failed to connect!!!! i hate that I had to waste my time on this. p.s what the hell does this mean - "Use a wired connection: You will need to use a wired connection between your computer and router using an Ethernet cable when upgrading the firmware." Which router are you talking about? My router (Asus, motorola, etc). If so, why does it have to be wired to my computer? ??
