*Very pleased with **Newest.Technology** the setup , it took a little adjusting on a few of out cameras to keep them from getting a glare at night. Once that was done they looked great! We look forward to adding a few more cameras to our current setup soon!*
Even though the box said "Easy do it yourself installation", i did a few things different and thought it was my router when i knew it supported "WPS" and tried to configure my router settings. I tried soooo hard working on it for hours and was soooo irritated until i found your video. I followed your steps & i could not stand NOT coming here to personally thank you. Thank you thank you thank you! Your video was so helpfull & helped me from not only returning the product, but saving me from getting more frustrated. Again thank you sooooo much!
***** As you can see, i already have a DSC-930L camera & installed. I liked it so much i decided to buy ANOTHER camera so i can have another camera channel location to monitor. It's the same exact camera, but i noticed the cd software looked a little different & i had a hard time installing it. I can't seem to get it installed. The software wanted me to download some setup program & i had a hard time downloading it. I also tried using the other software from the first D-Link DSC-930L camera & i couldn't get past the "admin" "new password" part. It was driving me crazy again. I thought it would be easy to install the 2nd one knowing i knew & had already installed the previous one. I'm stuck here & i don't know whether i'm going to return the 2nd camera since i can't install it. I wish D-Link would make more user friendly products since this experience will depend whether i will buy D-Link products again. Hope you can help.

Thank You! I read several comments where people said it was not "wireless" nor that it sustains an account, and various other complaints. Yet, I've watched what you did and it seems pretty reasonable to set up to me. Thanks for I'll not send it back and set it up. Nice video to provide for people and I thank you!
THANK you for the tip about downgrading the firmware! That fixed my problem! I had already gone through tech support, spend HOURS on this, got and RMA, returned my camera and got another one only to find the same problem. And I'm an IT professional, so I do sort of know what I'm doing. :-) But I was stuck on this, and nobody else had suggested downgrading the firmware. My camera works now! YAY!

I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.
do you have to use an Iphone for this camera?

I don't have the CD, how do I set this up?
Just got a 930LB1 today. Followed all the instructions, the light is solid green but it is not detecting the camera. UPnP is on, everything seems to be correct, any suggestions?
I have the same issue. I can log into the webcam directly but the mydlink program doesn't detect it.
@DLinkTV I finally got it working. My router runs a combined WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security key which the camera won't accept. If I select just WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK security it works. I was running the combined key as I have a component that only has WPA security so it looks like that will need replacing. :-\
part 1: FIX "unable to detect internet connection message" To fix this you must downgrade your camera to v1.0 by downloading the old firmware. THEN Select the DCS in the first dropdown, and then 930L in the second if you don't see a list of files. The file you want to get is: Firmware: DCS-930L A1 FW v 1.00 (for ww). This is the internal software that was loaded on your camera when it came out of the box.
I have just about had it with this junk! I bought 2 of these thinking that it's easy to get them working! I've spent hours trying to figure this out! Tried WPS - just gets a solid blue in the back but solid red in front, manual, DHCP, static IP, you name it.. the list goes on! Wired connection is super easy! It's getting it to connect to wireless is the HARD part! I've searched for all possible solutions and still NOTHING! I've even download from the link presented here. I'm sending this back. I'm very disappointed and frustrated having wasted several hours on something that doesn't work!

I have a Problem ! I just buy it i follow the instruction and it blocks in the internet setup !! I skiped and went to the mydlink to create a new acount i create it but no camera in the site !!! PLZZZ HELP
what happen if you someone disconnect the internet connection and intrude the room that you have placed the camera. Does it still detect motions or capture any images? If so, will it automatically send you notification/alarm to your phone once the internet connection is back?
This product doesn't have a cam recording feature right?
Is the video being stored somewhere? Can I retrieve the video to watch later?
FIX for "unable to detect internet connection - I had to unregister my camera because I was getting spammed with emails due to the motion detection being too sensitive. The problem is that it seems the "new" installation wizard that is required if you have upgraded your camera to firmware 1.04, will not find an internet connection. The "old" setup wizard on your original CD, sees your internet connection, but can't register the camera because it is upgraded... Catch 22!!
I have an Android phone, and the D-Link app was always crashing. Customer support could not suggest a thing to help. Sad.
Got one of these yesterday and the thing just won't connect to my wifi router. Spent about 5 hours installing then resetting then installing etc with no luck. It works with the ethernet cable and picks up my wifi network, it just refuses to connect.
Oh. thanks Actually I bought 2 of the 1130's. Great IP cams. The Android and iPhone are great, but need a button to toggle Motion Detection on and off. Other than that... great products.
can you post the night shot ....planning to use it in the dark or no light .

hi I am getting a message " DCP- No IP address to bind." message when I use the d-Link setup wizard. what am I doing wrong? I tried using it both wired and unwired .My router is the 2730b. The light is green and My router detects it. I have WPA and Upnp is enabled. I don't know what is the issue

What happens if I have multiple camera's to put in.

Hi! I like to run this cam over my TP-Link internet modem. It is a Sim-Card Modem with DHCP-Server but with no ethernet ports. Settings on the cam where done with a second router. All wlan settings on the 930L are done and wlan is active, the camera find my tp-link network but she doesn't connect with wlan (password is correct). Any ideas what i could try next?
can i view the cctv live even im away?

When I insert the CD into my new HP computer and select D:\autorun.exe, I'm told that the app is blocked from security reason by my admin. But I am the admin of the PC. So how do I setup the D-Link DCS-930L camera?
Bengt Weman Windows 10 blocks this due to an outdated certificate. You can get around it by running in Powershell (DOS Command prompt) as an Admin. You need to navigate to the directory of your autorun file. If you google it, you should find instructions somewhere.

Rolando Parel BB do not have dlink apps. But you can setup free DDNS with dlink & buy BB app called "IP cam view" at about USD10. After a long hours working with all the spec, finally you will view all dlink cams at BB. I have 4 cams & all work. Don't ever try it you do not know or not familiar DDNS, UPnP, Ports, IP, Router settings... blah blah, it will kill you. Good luck.
i have a dlink 930Ll my network will not see camera wired also when i try to change password it will not go passed that any new software change to this or what
i did reset it a couple of times still wont be seen on my network computer

WHAT IS THE DAMN PASS
This is a GOOD product, but THROW AWAY THE SETUP CD. Unless you are the type of person that likes to get aggravated and end up throwing the device against the wall (CALL IT A PIECE OF CR*P) and later decide to sell it on eBay for $15 plus FREE shipping. Where someone like me will buy it from you, press the reset button on the back for 10 seconds, and then use the FREE iPhone app called mydlink Lite to set it up within 10 minutes.
You’re going to need to the iPhone App anyway to monitor the camera remotely, so why don’t you download it and use it to setup this device. Moreover, if you have an iPad, download the mydlink + for 99 cents and you can monitor 4 cameras simultaneously.
If you follow my advice, you’ll save your marriage and your wife won’t call you a dumb idiot!

Bought this crap 3. None working with my setup. Beware b4 u get this. The support response is good but failed making my cam works. It blocks my internet when I get this connected wirelessly. Dumb!
