Something Ludwig didn't mention is that they added hidden abilities, which were added in gen 5. That's how he had unburden Septile and how Beedrill dies to Rough skin Gabite
This was put together so well. I've never rooted so hard for someone playing Pokémon and I'll never subject myself to that much punishment willingly lol. I'm currently playing through Pokémon Fire Red, Emerald, Platinum, Soul Silver, and Black 1&2 and I gotta say even though I'm fighting at lower levels it's a lot easier than what I see in this video. I'm ok with easy mode as long as it's not too easy but if I want punishment I'll go back to dark souls and those types of games. I might try a basic Nuzlocke to see how it goes and probably make my own version so it's challenging but still fun as it looks like it sacrifices the feeling that Pokémon is supposed to give as an adventure. I hope to find the balance so I can enjoy the feel of a Pokémon game and root for myself as hard as I did this masochistic man.
I wish he did what he usually does for ludlockes and make a 30 part video series of almost every single attempt so the youtube frogs get to suffer a little through the ludlocke as well, now i DO miss the old ludwig

I realize the vods are available to see but as someone who can't catch all these streams, or has the time to sift through all of those vods, I can't help but feel like I'm missing out on the cool sprites and hard work that was put into the ROM itself. I might have to just play the ROM myself to see all those fun changes, sprites and easter eggs. RIP TH-cam frogs like us :c
how i feel exactly, the old ludlocke will forever be peak lud in my mind but i appreciate his evolution
Somehow, he made the Avengers with people you find working the night shift at a 24 hour convenience store.
Woah, I didnt realize that this was a reskin of another rom hack, pokemon renegade platinum. Love that rom hack and it's awesome that it was reskined for this lol
I just got back into pokémon after a couple years and this showed up in my recommended. Literally the most interesting pokémon video i’ve seen
Something Ludwig didn't mention is that they added hidden abilities, which were added in gen 5. That's how he had unburden Septile and how Beedrill dies to Rough skin Gabite
Can’t wait for Ludwig to make a video like this on how he beat jump king
Dudeeeee that Overtaken Track at the Cynthia ending was the best time to enter such an epic song… GG I shall follow you till the end 😎💪
The fact that Atrioc was the bad guy in this game aged well
I like this summary format but I miss the old episode format. That format was how I found you Ludwig.
the final few streams were some of the most fun moments i’ve had in chat
"WITH A FUCKING LOVEDISK" the perfect ending
Never thought id see a wormadam and luvdisc be part of the winning run, goddamn that was hype
I would like to see ludwig do a full mystery dungeon playthrough
