Even though I've finished school now and don't have any revision to do, I love watching these videos! I honestly don't understand how you found all of the resources- I wish I had them last year!
Also, a tip to help you stop picking spots whilst revising is to put on a face mask and just leave it on while you do revision! I did this and it stopped me from poking them and making them spread 😉

These videos make me feel so stressed and anxious as I actually have done barely any work over the holidays as it’s been major family time! I love these videos to see how other people work, but it makes me feel so guilty, but to be honest the only work I’ve been set this Christmas break is coursework so I haven’t had much to do, so there isn’t much to be quilts about. My teachers don’t set much homework so I need to start doing more independent work. I also have a few questions, is all of the work that you do in these videos homework or do you do it for yourself as part of independent study, and also, can you please do a beginners guide to quizlet eve so I can see how to use it to the best as I have no idea where to start. And also, When you say you make notes in these videos, like you make notes on a chapter, do you type them all and make one really good set of notes which you add too , or are you just making new note sets every time and have lots of documents on your laptop? I need to find an effective way to type my notes. Thanks
Jasmine Please do not compare yourself and the amount of work you are doing in comparison to Eve. Trust me, comparison will cause you to fall into a downwards spiral of demotivation and sadness. I've been there so I know what I'm talking about. Do the amount of work that suits YOU- if you feel like you're doing enough work then that's ok but if you feel like you want to do more, than do more. Eve is doing the amount of work that she feels is necessary for HER to get the best grades she can. Amounts of work vary for different people and it's important to work at your own pace. Just because Eve is doing something does not mean that you have to and that she is better than you because she's doing extra things.
Please do not feel guilty for spending time with your family over the holiday break- you can enjoy your life and not be consumed with revision and still get good grades.
I did my A-Levels last year so I can look back and realise how pointless it is to compare the amount of work you're doing to the amount someone else is doing. A quote I like to remember is that "Comparison is the thief of joy".
At the end of the day, the amount of work you put in FOR YOURSELF will be shown in your grades and that's really all that matters.
Have fun revising and don't get too stressed!

Honestly I was feeling just like this the other day. What helped me is writing lists of what you need to do everyday don't over push yourself. Only write what you need to do that day and focus on just that so you don't have loads of things going through your mind. Don't compare yourself either everyone is different eve has been revising for years so it just comes natural to her now. Just find the best method for you and don't feel like you need to be doing everything and once x

I really need to revise but every revision task I do ends up taking me hours on end (for example making mind maps, notes and cue cards) and I feel like I am wasting my time and I am leaning nothing. Can you suggest me good time management tips, please? Thankyou so much - love your videos so much!!

Me too and only on certain days it works it’s so unreliable try do Mindmaps without looking at material or make PowerPoint slides if they help and try to teach someone and practice exam questions maybe ?
For notes, see if typing them up makes things better. I switched from paper to typing back in March and it was the best thing I ever did. I didn’t have to start over or constantly tippex things out all the time as I can just backspace it.
You could switch to Quizlet for the cue cards but Quizlet is best for key terms. Try putting yourself on a timer or plan the questions you want to write out on a scrap piece of paper first, instead of thinking of the question and answer while typing. I base mine from my notes (or rather, will be as I haven’t done enough yet).
As for the mind maps, do a rough version that’s really scruffy and just rewrite it neatly instead of immediately writing it up neatly, as that can take a while since you don’t know exactly what you have write (which means you end up not having enough room or you miss something out).

sonja x for now some Time Management Tips and tricks would be to try to start as early as possible, and set yourself an hour (or another time period) to do certain tasks which should motivate you to try to work a little bit quicker!
sonja x honestly I was in that position this time last year and don't worry! If you're making the stuff for revision then you're using your time wisely! You will have time closer to the exam to actively use the revision materials

That German book is old, it's got the old spelling. Years ago it got updated. As a German I don't mind reading old books, I'm just surprised that students learning the language get taught the old spelling, since using it will lose you marks:)
ah no it's ok - i can recognise where the old spelling are and i just change it in my quotes, so daß becomes dass etc x
