I hope this video was helpful if you're considering lowering your car! Key takeaways: - Low car = looks cool - Low car = drive more carefully - Low car = feel the road more There are also some downfalls, such as wearing out other suspension components faster if not correctly installed. Leave any comments below! (Oh, and apparently I love the outro music so much I put 2 different songs together on it lmao)
Another option but slightly more expensive are height adjustable springs (HAS). Helps with ride comfort and really dialing in the best / lowest height without any rubbing
Thank you for going over the little things. Besides all that my B8.5 is the same color and I hated it until I saw how you have yours. I started a chrome delete on it and started blacking out what I can. Thank you for the Vision cause I honestly didn’t have it until I came across your channel. Keep up the good work, love the videos!
@@KevGI agree with you. I think the eibach sport springs are not as aggressive. I think H&R are 1-1/2” and Eibach are under an inch which once the car settles it would be the perfect height.
Thanks for your vids man thought about it over a year now but not going to do it cause of the comfortness. Next thing is going to be the exhaust but in Germany u have to pay 4k for a loud and good exhaust that you can drive legal in the traffic without getting your car impounded. Love Germany 🥰
Woooow that is insane. The more I drive it, the more I appreciate a smooth riding car😂It’s a great setup but definitely stiffens the ride a lot. Thanks!
Did it affect your adaptive cruise control ?? The dealer is telling me I’ll need to get it recalibrated along with the alignment after lowering spring install
I just lowered my ‘22 SQ5 with ABT HAS. I didn’t have to do nothing except make custom headlight autolevel arms for the rear sensors or the lights would be in the dirt. I have all that fancy shit. ACC,Lane Assist, cameras yada yada. I had a standard 4 wheel alignment done by my trusted Belletire and car rides fine and retains every oem feature with zero recalibration.
Hey! I'm new to the channel, but i can already say i like your content :) I also have a B8.5 S5, currently no mods. Do you have any tips on some mods tha will make the car even better? :D Mine is in daytona gray. I'm absolutely gonna subscribe :) Greetings from sweden
Thanks for checking out the channel! I have some videos on mods. I’d check out both the “Why you need to tune your Audi” and “5 best first mods for Audis” videos I’ve uploaded. Best of luck and beautiful car

That's awesome to hear! Love the blue. It definitely needs the blackout and the B8.5 body style just looks so good
Thanks Kev, just the information that I was researching for.
Sure thing!
I believe the eibach springs are much better for maintaining ride comfort (but less of a drop)
Good to know! I’ve seen those in action on a few of their test videos and I’d have to agree

Moral of the story - if you’re under ~50 with no back pain... just send it 🤷🏼♂️
Basically yes😂
Did wear out your tire faster or notice any excessive or uneven tire wear?
You need a alignment after you do this
