Legend.. So detailed and all the important points covered flawlessly, even the explanation of which is the "aerator vs scarifier" which the manual instruction document confused me by calling it scarifier (the aerator) and raker (the scarifier). well done thanks. I have a question as i received this scarifier today: for removing my moss and dead matter - which one should i use? is the fitted aerator only to do this once or twice a year to dig holes for good aeration? and the other bit to normal scarify?
Hi Alex, generally yes - for a more thorough scarification, you can use the bladed fixture. For a general use, de-mossing/thatch you would be best off with the rake attachment. Hope this helps and glad you found this instructional video helpful! Happy gardening!
Good video, thanks. Ordered one of these on Thursday from Onbuy and Hyundai Power Products Direct. Looking forward to giving my grass some TLC. Q: Will the aerator cope ok with small stones under the soil? Will it just ‘bounce’ over something hard as the blades are not sprung? Thanks.
Strain relief is a neat idea.
Nice clear instructions Adrian. Thanks
