Hey everyone! This ECM rush certainly feels quite different depending on what your task is for the heist. In my case, I was in charge of pushing the guards (as the host), but the other heisters are doing completely unrelated things. If you would like to see the perspective of other players in this rush, here's Twits' PoV! th-cam.com/video/bMUb468SMzw/w-d-xo.html Maybe in a few days I'll be able to add links to other PoVs, if someone else got a recording. Stay tuned if you're interested!
Haha true! I've enjoying reading through Garrett's comments on the different heists, but I never actually thought about the fact that Breakin' Feds would technically be typing a comment about himself :D
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed and dislikes the random garage escape costing the stealth bonus! Big Oil day two is guaranteed to sound the alarm at a certain point but still keeps the stealth bonus as I recall. The only part of Breakin' Feds that I can't do reliably is soloing the beginning. If I get one of the downstairs laptops it can be really tricky to get up to the barricade in time given all the guards that can be in the way. After that I find the heist pretty easy, and at worst mildly annoying when the artifact is in evidence instead of the safe.
That's exactly right yup! On Big Oil you get a stealth bonus for DAY2 if you get far enough in stealth (15% total for both days). That's the way it should be for Breakin' Feds, because the current situation is just so sad whenever you get garage! As for the start, personally I think Training Room is quite easy (it's very similar to Server Room, if you think about it), and kitchen is similarly easy if the training room is empty. However, when you get the kitchen laptop, plus the training room full of people, then that can be a nightmare! Since you're fully relying on patrol RNG to make a path for you during that 30s window, which is never guaranteed :(
We’re still not the biggest fans of BF (no friends who play PD2) but seeing it get absolutely slaughtered like this is some nice catharsis for our few hours doing it on DSOD.
Haha glad you liked that! It's the only stealth heist where you can alert such a large number of enemies simultaneously, I wish we had more scenarios like this one :D
@@Marcmb Right? I also am so disappointed on how the ECM feedback no longer alerts the entire map. I'd laugh so hard alerting EVERYONE in a state of panic and confusion with ❗ all over the place before just leaving XD
Oh wow! Just 10 hours after you wrote this message, the devs actually went ahead and reverted the change. Now feedback is back to alerting everyone: you interact with it, and the ❗ icons appear all over the map again haha. Incredible that you called it so close to it happening :D
right off the bat with a hot take that BF is a decent heist... i lost my family to garrett /j no but seriously, ive had the worst experience with this heist when playing blind with my friends and it was torture, but it taught me a lot about stealth since it was one of the first few maps ive done in it! seeing all these ecm rushes really fuels the passion in me to keep trying and improving, it's always all so interesting! thank you for the amazing content (despite the community being on fire since U237 haha), keep it comin! ❤
Haha thanks Nadim! When learning the heist BLINDLY with friends it can be a nightmare that's for sure: it's never intentional, but the crew takes turns making mistakes along the learning process, and it can feel like you're getting nowhere! It can be a very punishing heist :D Glad you liked this rush, and good luck in your journey towards improvement and full mastery :D As for U237, that was indeed quite a literal fire... They're fixing things and moving in the right direction, but I really hope they will iron everything out in U238 :)
Marc spitting facts literally as soon as the video starts, damn. Breakin' Feds is one of my all-time favourite heists - I absolutely love how it tests the player's proficiency at stealth, and it's on the whole a short & fun heist with a nice objective structure. I genuinely can't understand how anyone could hate it. I usually shrug it off as either in-the-moment burst of frustration and that they don't actually mean it, or... I dunno, skill issue 😛 Great video, skillful rushes as always!
I hate to admit it, but I am terrible at stealth, godly terrible at it. It took me several hours to beat it. The even more frustrating thing is, I knew it wasn't too bad, but I just am so bad at stealth. I didn't struggle on any other heist nearly as much as I did that one. It really tested my patience 😂 I will say I believe I have since gotten a little bit better at stealth, but I still am not over how much pain it's caused me yet so I haven't replayed it since. 🤣
@@WildWombats Credit where it's due, Breakin' Feds is super tough. It's got a walking and easily triggerable fail condition, lots of guards in tight spaces that are frequently located right next to the objectives, and you have to carefully navigate there and back again (depending on the escape). But me personally, that's why I love it so much! It's like a rite of passage, the ultimate obstacle course. A frustrating one, but effective nevertheless.
Thank you JustAJAG, good to know you agree with me on that one! Absolutely, short and sweet is a perfect description for it. There aren't many stealth heists that fit with this description (plus this one has no need for extra loot either, unless you feel like doing that), so it's like a flawless, perfect heist. So so good, every single time! Glad you liked the rush, thank you very much :)
@@WildWombats The first completion can be quite tough yup, especially without a guide! As you say there's lots of things to learn and improve over time, so I'm sure if you gave it another go and replayed it, it would go much better! :D
The only part I cant do is the part where you cut the security box wires mostly because I either cant find them or that the guards have perfect coordination and always just camp the boxes
Hey Blob! I would say that's the easiest part, actually! I have another video with stealth tips for this heist, where I recommend simply taking out the 4 guards who patrol around those power boxes, on Garrett's side (3 guards + 1 from elevator). In this way, you don't have to worry about anyone, while doing all the objectives on that side :)
Haven't seen the video yet, but I agree with the first statement... also haven't read the title, now I'm hyped, I've been waiting this rush for so long :)
Perhaps perhaps! Back in the day when I did Entrapment (I was a new heister so I just wanted the achievement, not the challenge) I just did it on low difficulty to abuse the low number of guards :p
@@_Salok That's fair! Thinking about it, a safe way to do it regardless of difficulty is probably by abusing the drill exploit (so all vault area guards eventually get stuck if you wait long enough)...
Haha absolutely! Eventually I want to have ECM rushed all heists, even those deemed "impossible"! PAYDAY 3 is gonna be great for challenges too, I'm sure :D
So, while everyone else is agreeing with this map not being the worst stealth heist, what *is* the worst one, then? Are you going off pure stealth or can be stealthed?
Hey Elektross! Excellent question... As far as stealth goes, the worst one is probably one of the beginner ones. Bank Heist comes to mind, because it's just waiting for a 6 minute drill (minus 30% with skills). The simplicity in taking out the 4 guards is somewhat enjoyable though, so the true worst one is probably Nightclub: the server door objective is nice (looking for keycard / skilling into ECM Overdrive / bringing a saw), but then you wait for a 6-minute drill for the money, then wait 5 minutes for the escape to arrive. So bad!
I have an idea for a video and that is can you get away with killing Garret i know it sounds bad but i think its possible by opening the safe but not picking up the box (i dont know if garret notices that) then distracting him again 3 players with yakuza take the box and run to the exit it has to be the one with the c4 one player stays behind tho and as the 3 players get on the exit he kills garret and leaves so the heist ends idk if its possible to get the escape with the box within the time period of garett being distracted but hey thats just a theory a Game theory alright seriously try it
Hey Lukas! There is some people who have done a similar thing in the past yup! If you place a trip mine in Garrett's office while he's gone, and then quickly run to the escape, he will eventually walk into the trip mine and then you can trigger the escape. Kinda cool :D
Hey wolf! This heist is FREE for all players on the PC version. Are you perhaps on console? Unfortunately console heisters never got this heist I think, so it wouldn't be available for you...

gonna be honest, 0:28 is exactly WHY it isn't a good stealth heist. if going out of your way to abuse the low number of guards is the first and most obvious solution, instead of just working around them, there's a problem
That's a very good point Sae! At this point it's mostly a matter of playstyle because the ability to invest 4 pagers there is so powerful, that it's almost foolish to not take it. Although, even for pacifist runs, there are still spots to hide, and multiple paths to avoid the guards, which makes it a fun heist still! I will admit however, that the central room on the right side is quite poorly designed: if a new heister makes the mistake of hiding there for even a moment, it's very likely that he will be locked in there for a long time, as the rotating guards make it impossible to leave for quite a while. Haha I've heard about that yup! Something about going out of bounds to trigger the garage explosion, which then allows you to kill Garrett without triggering his point of no return, and also I think bugging his hitbox. Very fancy stuff :D
I can respect your opinion on breakin' feds but from personal experience its utterly shit. Regardless of what i do, guards will always reappear and replace the guards I kill through the elevators, making all of that work to safely kill and take a pager useless. Honestly this type of BS in stealth is a "challenge" to some, but also a fucking nuisance and annoyance to casual stealth players just trying to do the career.
Hey Blue! This comes with map knowledge so it's fine, but as *@Idio* said only one backup guard will ever be sent (per side), so there's never a situation of never-ending guards: just 4, and then done! You can also take out cams as *@fiyah* suggests, but then you need to avoid the 1 backup guard, so I don't recommend it personally!
Locke gives you a hint Anniversary = 1212 obvious = 1234 payday gang = 2015 historical = 1776 The fourth digit in the code doesn't matter so you can just put whatever

I can respect your opinion on breakin' feds but from personal experience its utterly shit.
Regardless of what i do, guards will always reappear and replace the guards I kill through the elevators, making all of that work to safely kill and take a pager useless.
Honestly this type of BS in stealth is a "challenge" to some, but also a fucking nuisance and annoyance to casual stealth players just trying to do the career.
only one guard reappears in the elevators per side
Then be careful, don't get caught and take out the cam guy. It's not really bs when it's fairly easy.
Hey Blue! This comes with map knowledge so it's fine, but as *@Idio* said only one backup guard will ever be sent (per side), so there's never a situation of never-ending guards: just 4, and then done!
You can also take out cams as *@fiyah* suggests, but then you need to avoid the 1 backup guard, so I don't recommend it personally!
penguin role i agree with legendsapeks6168 🐧🐧🐧🐧

How do I get the right code the first time?
Locke gives you a hint
Anniversary = 1212
obvious = 1234
payday gang = 2015
historical = 1776
The fourth digit in the code doesn't matter so you can just put whatever
Hey gibiglut! Just replying to confirm that it's all about the hint yup, as *@Idio* mentioned.
