- Hi guys welcome back to the channel! Today, I will be showing you guys how to upload your Overkill tune. There are a lot of videos on people getting tuned but no one ever walks through what you actually have to do. I tried my best to break this down for you guys. Got my tune and really woke up the car! Happy with his tune and just takes patience. I also got the ported throttle body and FX Laminator. Great tune overall and worth the wait.

@@great4ever845 it’s my first car, insurance is high where I live and I didn’t want to be in debt with a loaner. I paid my car all cash and debt free since they’re obviously cheaper than the v8 models. It all depends on someone’s situation.

how long did it take you to get your tune personally? been waiting over 2 weeks for mine, I know hes very busy, I also plan on modding my car more in the future so maybe I should just refund it and get a trifecta tune? The ghost cam would be a plus so i wouldn't mind going that route, whats your thoughts?
I would never get a ghost cam. From what I have heard, its not good for the cams long term. Even if that's, not true, I would not want my cams being phased like that. I have a video of when I got my tune that goes over how long it took. I can't remember off the top of my head.
I'm debating between overkill and trifecta, but the whole setup process for overkill isn't doing it for me
Can I use a different tuning device to put the tune on so I can use the monitoring screen?
No. You have to use whatever you get from your tuner as it's all software specific.
Any idea how to get a hold of Will? I’ve been waiting nearly two years with no response.
It's impossible man. He's horrible with customer service. Unfortunately, I would find another tuner.
Which option tune did you get I have a 2018 camaro and I want to get the tune but there is more then one option idk which one is for my car

@@mistermanage1119 like when I try to order the tune there so many option sorry this might sound stupid but what unlocked Tcm mean because that’s the option they give me
@@abanoubtawfek4731 TCM is for your transmission if you have a auto. That way they can tune your transmission to have different shift points. If you have a manual, that is irrelevant.
How long did you have to wait for the tune to come in I heard he takes forever
It took a long time and he never responded last time I messaged. It's honestly not worth it. Someone is going to sue him one of these days.

Try to find a local tuner
I would do a local dyno tune. Or trifecta is always a good bet.
Did you Camaro rev hanged from 1st to 2nd gear?
Not with a tune. Without a tune, yes.

Yeah I would never use him again or recommend him. He has fallen off the wagon for sure.

@@mistermanage1119 we'll see if i can get a response, ill keep emailing, but i need a tune soon, i jumped the gun putting my intake on and now i have dirty spark plugs causing occasional misfires.
DO NOT get an overkill tune. I just wanted to give my more recent experience with trying to get a tune from Overkill. I ordered the tune, waited about 2 weeks and sent an email inquiring about the order. I heard nothing after letting another couple of business days pass. I then decided to open a dispute on Paypal hoping he would respond to this. After he still didn't respond to this for a couple of days, I escalated the dispute into a claim to try and get my money back. He was given 10 days to respond to this by Paypal and even after this addtional 10 days on top of all the other time I had given him, he still never responded to the case. Luckily in these types of situations, Paypal will default to a full refund for the buyer but I was still out the time and headache that I spent on this. I am now just going with a tune from trifecta as they are quick to respond and have already sent me the tune and shipped the cable within a couple of days of ordering the tune from them. I should have just gone with them in the first place hearing how bad Will was at responding, but I never thought it would be quite that bad.
