    Excellent tutorial. You covered every aspect for both cabs. Thank you. You make it simple so anyone can do it. Mine arrives tomorrow. Much appreciated.

    Thumbs up for the tutorial. Can I add another for your little "helper" while you were finishing Outrun? ;) #cute

    Great video and a nice kit! But what if you just want to add a powered subwoofer istead of the bass shaker? Should we just get the 2.0 version and use a Y-splitter out to the sub, or can the bass shaker's output be used instead, somehow?

    • @BuyStuffArcades
      @BuyStuffArcades  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want to add a sub, you definitely want the 2.1 so you can connect the sub to the .1 channel.

    Great informative video as always. I'm not sure if I want the standard Racing Box or this one made for the Outrun & RR cabs. I'm concerned about games that use multiple buttons for things like turbo boosts, items, hopping/jumping (Mario Kart), tricks (ATV games).The spreadsheet shows some games utilizing some of the buttons for gas, brake, shifting, etc - If I'm not mistaken. Can you guys show a video on exactly HOW some of the major titles' buttons work? Just the AAA titles (Mario Kart games, Spy Hunter, Hydro Thunder, etc. I'd like to SEE how easy it is to steer, hit turbos, hop, use items, etc. For this reason I may just go with the standard Racing Box where I can use my Hori wheel that has all those extra buttons - might make it a better experience. Thanks, guys!!

      We'll try to do some of that when we release a video on our v1.1 build. But to be honest, the shifter on the RR/OutRun changes the game - it is great and we've utilized it really well. I think it's more intuitive in most situations than the Hori wheel with its buttons all over the place.

      @@BuyStuffArcades OK, cool. I'm sure it's workable, just trying to picture how it'll work. I appreciate it, and hope to see some footage once v1.1 is released. Thanks.

    I have a kit on its way and I bought the 2.1 amp. Does it have enough ports and power to push the shaker, stock speakers, and a small powered subwoofer? I'm trying to find a compact sub that I might be able to put inside the BSA seat stand that comes with the seated conversion kit (not the A1up seated version) for RR.

    • @BuyStuffArcades
      @BuyStuffArcades  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Would probably start with mounting the bass shaker under the seat and see how you like that. An additional sub might not be all that necessary and might be too much for the amp.

    Awesome . In your opinion which is a better cab ? The outrun or ridge racer ?

    • @BuyStuffArcades

      Ridge Racer has rumble on the wheel, so that is a big plus.

    If I just want to hook up a soundbar do I need this board or is there an adapter cable for rca out

    • @BuyStuffArcades
      @BuyStuffArcades  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You don't need this kit for using a soundbar. A Soundbar can be connected directly to the Gaming Box. We supply a 3.5mm male to male cable, but you can adapt to the RCA or connect a longer 3.5mm to RCA cable directly to the Gaming Box.

    Hey where's the 3rd cord plug into the game box ? I don't see anywhere to plug into the board

    • @BuyStuffArcades
      @BuyStuffArcades  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you get it figured out? The voltage regulator plugs into the Gaming Box and feeds from the red port on the encoder board.

    Man you guys thought of everything . Grey job . Would be even better to just sell your own stand up cabinets with choice of artwork that we can put a 20 inch monitor in like the sit downs .

      I agree. The cabinets that we buy now are $699. It would be a good idea if you did a survey or test group to see if this would be worth it. I wonder what it would cost to do a standup or sit down with a 20 inch monitor and your game box with or without artwork. Interesting idea.

      @@8-bit_Informer they would do it better
      Bigger screen . Correct hight . Better speakers and amp right away . They already have the sit down that’s flying off the shelves . I personally have a sit down sim type set up so no room for another sit down right now but I would get a Daytona or crazy taxi upright for sure
      Love the artwork they came up with as well . Maybe both :)

      @@supermetalgamerman5930 I agree with you. This company and these men have put out great reliable products. I have bought some myself and it all has worked perfectly. They have brought gaming back into our lives and the type you only dreamed of owning as a kid. They don’t just put out a product. They take their time and show you updates along the way. I know I would buy one. I just want to be able to race against my friends with linked cabs but buying and finding a cab and then buying the race box is slot. I would like an all in one.

    • @BuyStuffArcades

      It does reach the floor, but if it's too short to get to power, grab some extensions like these: amzn.to/3EfO7jF Our current shipping adapters have a really short cord, so we do have an extension included with them.
