Cool ! Pretty interesting to see the universal horn button added on the Rim Blow steering wheel as a modification, you can get a horn switch for it for $150 but it's a bit of work to replace and install. I'll have to do the same thing, but this gave me the idea of possibly mounting that same type of button, but I would mount it on the left back side so it is easy to acess but not visible from the front
Good project car. Good luck on your restoration. You need to take care of the battery tray ASAP. My 71 Mach 1 had the same issue, not as bad as yours but it was rusted out. Biggest issue was that it rusted a part that goes behind the Apron called the battery tray apron support bracket and finding that part was difficult. There is a guy in the 71-73 Mustang forums that reproduces them, that was the only way I could get it.
waste of WD 30... Since this is the "first one you've seen", you should know these were garbage when they were new. With a few exceptions , they were in this condition (rust) months after sale. The automatic "s**tbox" shifter and unsafe, RUSTED OUT frame just makes it worse. Scrap it...
Nice one mate! Was great chatting to you today! All the best with your awesome projects ❤

So cool man. How much did you spend, roughly?
If you buy an American muscle car it needs to be a 4 speed manual shifting car. An automatic transmission won’t cut it.
What engine is in that car?
Hey Rick, it’s a 351 with a 2 barrel
waste of WD 30...
