Those Rite in the Rain notebooks were almost standard issue on the flight lines when I was in the AirForce (03-11). The attendant didn't say it, but if you combine those with Fisher pens... You can write perfectly legible notes even if it's soaked in JP8 and hydraulic fluid. And those FlexSafe signs have me wondering about all the possibilities for them.

The road closed barrier is fantastic. I work for a public utility and we lug heavy stands and signs around every day. We have to then put 4 to 6 cones on either side and people run them over. This takes up less space than our signs by themselves. Super quick deployment. Can we change the sign out? From road closed to Sidewalk closed or even Detour with arrows? We have a private trail and river access, so we would take a daily walk and he would swim almost everyday. Cold or hot, rain or shine, he couldn’t wait to swim. I would put a harness and long rope on him at times in case the current was too fast. Made it to 18, no weight or joint problems, even being huge, 125lbs lean, for a lab. He was an obese 155 when we got him. Lived in a house in the suburbs with no exercise. He would flop down exhausted after 5 minutes just leisurely walking at first. Miss him every single day.

It would be so much easier to replace the couplers like this rather than doing all that plumbing work, ESPECIALLY on those backwash valves. Like he said, if one coupling cracks on a backwash valve, You are looking at $200 min for the part, a couple hundred for the labor, and the pvc cost. With this guys solution, that cuts down to whatever this simple part costs and maybe an hour or two of labor costs. That goes from a $650+ repair, to a $250 repair. I need to look this dude up lmao.

If the rivets in the collapsable road sign, are galvanized, or stainless, this would be needed to make the product great. Usually the weak link, is steel rivets, rusting, and the holes they are in, rusting, and tube failure. Especially on the bottom, with wet sandbags constantly on them.

Those Rite in the Rain products are everywhere in the military. I was pretty well convinced when I did the demonstration at an expo and was writing on the paper underwater in a small tank.I was 100% sold when I sat in the jungle in Belize in pouring rain with my Rite in the Rain notebook and pen and took notes for a combat order no problem. Pretty sure I still have that book around somewhere.

Once I would have thought that the thing for helping pull nails out would be a good thing, then I learnt that a decent hammer will grip a nail anywhere on the nail not just the head of the nail, and when it starts slipping on the nail you can sharpen the hammer to grip again 👍🏻

I work for the Street department in my local city, those road close barriers are sweet. Those would be way nicer to use than the big heavy bulky ones we have to block off roads. Would be nice to have abounch of those, especially to have different writing on them besides road close. Like right or left lane closed.

I'm not much of a plumber, but I had to replace a pvc collar similar to the one mentioned at the 3:00 minute mark. It was for a pool if that matters. Long story short. I had cut the old peice off and buy a ton of new hardware. Since I rarely do plumbing, I don't have the cutter or the glue, on hand so there is $40 already. I had to buy a pipe $10. The new fitting was like $7. Plus another $10 for a couple other fittings. My rate is $20hr, so about hr of work. Could have avoided all of that with this one peice. I didn't charge my customer for the tool, just parts and labor. Hardly made any money, and have an extra tool I won't be able to find in 2 years when I need it again.
