They were rich, but overworked and overexposed and the music scene was moving to tougher gangster rap, house and grunge. So they went to America instead and signed with Sony Music who gave them zero marketing and the dad didn't let lead singer Denise go solo. After two good albums that flopped with Sony, they went independent with two more albums and quit in 2001. There you go!
