Hey there, KiwiRail Spotter! Glad to see you again! How are you doing these days? I am doing great. I am also glad to see train footage on your channel once again. This video about the KiwiRail Work Train 20 shows interesting maintenance train footage as it passes by. It looks fabulous. Excellent work, and keep it up!
Where the drone at? The hoppers and carriages look pretty ghetto, but the Ballast Cleaner looks like something from Thunderbirds. Doesn't look like it was especially difficult to chase either😁 Nice and relaxing rail video 👍
Unfortunately, no drone I was driving back from Wellington and wasn't planning on chasing anything back so I didn't charge drone batteries then when I got to Levin that day I saw that the train was running, would've been cool to see from the air though. It was 55km/h restricted.
First off, Read the description. Second, I was driving back from Wellington-Hamilton and had been doing so since 4 am with not much sleep, so I wasn't exactly trying even with the train doing 55k. Thirdly, traffic between Te Kuiti and Hamilton was garbage. This video was pretty much trying a few new spots while trying to drive home.
@Bathurst_1000 Yeah it was a very last-minute chase, and yeah, even with slow runners, it can be difficult to chase, especially with holiday traffic and more trucks on the road. 🙃🙃

Not very good from the Viaduct to Hamilton you might out TE KUITI TE AWAMUTU & RAURIMU SPIRA. Could have been better - Cheers
