Sometimes world records don't last for too much. Could even be beaten on the same day. I'd say he has had his WR beaten many in this category.

This is the only NSMB game that didn't feel like one of those hacked amateur games with just levels made in a level editor in 20 minutes. The Wii, Wii U and NSMB 2 levels felt like they just moved the objects around some and bam, we got a new level.
why do you think they have new in the titles?
SMGS What? I meant there was no unique feeling to any level. Like this level is about the jumping springs, this one is about this or that. They just feel like Ice Level 1, Ice Level 2, Ice Level 3, etc. They are not memorable at all.

The first game I used to “speed run” as a lil kid. I think I was around 9 or so. I loved beating my friends, we were all shot though so nothing to be proud of. Just nostalgia ^^

New super mario was my first evner game that i got at the age of 5 and this brings back so many memories
What triggered me the most in this game was how it was near-impossible to get 8000 points from the flag pole unless you had a mega mushroom

Curious, the opening sequence shows that Small Mario is not his normal form as I thought. And Mario never dreamed about being so short as in this game.

I remember a while back when I was around 13, I was pretty entranced by the idea of beating a game super fast, so one time, when my friends were over, I was playing super Mario world and decided to try a power-upless speedrun of this game, I took an hour and a half-ish to do it. My friends were screaming at me the entire time... There's a feather right there!! Why did you miss the Yoshi Coin?!! How did you beat that guy so fast!!? No joke though, one of them went to bathroom to puke after the fact. my best friend at that time said, and I quote, 'that's messed up dude... I need some water, how and why did you manage that?'

Dennis Cleary Mario is so much easier nowadays. You can go backwards in the air, when having fire Mario and you hit a goomba or something, you just go back to big Mario, and more things were made easier
