  • Johnny Sun (孫家閎) is a national Taiji Quan athlete and multiple champion. Today he shares with us 3 killer core exercises using a very unique accessory that you can replace with ropes!
    How To:
    • Exercise #1 - Static Tree Pose = 3 sets x 30 seconds (increase time and sets when it gets easier)
    • Exercise #2 - Up and Down Tree Pose = 3 sets x 6 reps (increase reps and sets when it gets easier)
    Note: once you're able to do 15 reps per sets, you may try exercise #3 (see below)
    • Exercise #3 - Up and Down Pubu / Xiashi = At first don't try to reach a specific number of reps and sets, but focus on getting down slowly and steadily as well as holding a well balanced final pose.
    Once you're comfortable, try to do 3 to 5 sets x 6 reps per side (don't hurry, this takes a while)
    Keep in mind all the advices given by Johnny in the video while performing these movements. Jiayou!
