The LORD has truly blessed Stryper and the brothers in the band all these years. What a joy to see them still going strong for JESUS in these last days before we go home to be with our KING JESUS. 🤜🤛💪🫂🙏✝️🕎🎤🎸🥁🤟🕊️🙌
Awesomeness at its Best. Fueled by so music Love and so much Passion for people to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. God has confirmed it over and over again after all these years. Thank you so much for posting. Blessings everyone!
I get to see them at the end of this month at the age of 47. I have longed for this moment since I was 13 years old. Whenever what else was listening to mainstream music? I was listening to this and white cross.
Oz Fox is/ was always listed as lead guitarist, but Michael Sweet can shred too n plays just as many leads as Oz.. What a great, talented band!.. These guys inspired/ encouraged me beyond words when I was 18 n beyond as a new, born again Christian.. Stryper, Saint, Bloodgood, Barren Cross- the Big Four.. Rez Band, honorable mention*
It's funny how all those 80s metal bands that mocked Stryper, and where are they now. Stryper built their foundation on the rock and they're still rocking harder than ever. God Bless Brothers.
Michael doesn't look like he ages at all, many singers don't sound like they used to but not this guy. To say he made a deal with the Devil is most likely out of the question, anyway as usual they sound pretty freaking good..
This band is special. Started listening to them at 12. Got away from faith for awhile due to seeing things most people shouldn't and doing things most people wouldn't...combat, abusive dad . I thought God hated me, I felt shame and guilt. I was lost for a long time. Spent 10 months hospitalized with some major life threatening conditions... I was broken physically and spiritually. I wanted to die. Constantly in pain On January 16th I reached out to Christ,I was in a rehab facility, alone sobbing I admitted to God I'm weak, I've sinned and I needed him. It sounds cliche but my entire life turned around and I'm on the right path I recently became reborn and an getting re baptized Thank you stryper for help bring me back
My bride-to-be and I chose Honestly for our wedding. The song truly expresses how much i felt about him. We're still completely in love 30 years later.❤
They still like amazing and still sound great.praise God the power of clean living and following his word pay's off once again.god bless these men. And blessed us. With his message
Seeing them in Seattle 5/30/23. I would have never thought that Stryper would be the ones from this era that are carrying the metal torch in 2023. They have become better with time.
Saw them here in Tulsa at the Brady theater back in 1985 very first concert never will forget a friend of mine who I lost touch with got me in to stryper thank you my friend
Didn’t know really much about stryper till now cause I was only little when they were around. They sound amazing just pray that they continue to always have there eyes on Jesus and keep Him first in there life.
Thanks for sharing! Great footage. Love watching Michael and Oz together, and so often folks only get one of them at a time on camera. Got to see these guys in '84 for the Yellow and Black Attack, and have been a fan since.
Thanks for posting this. I met oz and robert many years ago and i was dumb enough to ask oz why he isnt in a bigger band. I think that was my terminology. He just told me this is the band he is meant for.
He gave you the right answer. Oz, Robert and Michael are an amazing force together. Playing together off and on since middle school. They all three are brothers now.
Nice! I was waaaaaaaay in the back, but they still sounded tight, even with earplugs in and that far away. They seem to keep getting better every year!
Playing the new stuff doesn’t make them money. Unfortunately they have to play the hits, that’s what brings the people. For the hardcore fan that sucks. People that are going to shows are wanting to hear stuff they grew up on. That’s why the tribute bands are so big these days. That era of fan were the ones that went out and still do to see rock concerts. This newer generation not so much.
The only relevant band in these times of darkness. God bless you brothers, I saw you a few months ago, you drove the whole place nuts in Bogotá Colombia, best night ever!
Standing in line to see Stryper in 1989 - McAllen Texas, (La Villa Real Convention Center) when Robert Sweet comes out to greet the fans in his full yellow and black attire. Great Show and Great memories.
I saw Stryper in 2000 and it was amazing for me to see them in my country, sadly I couldn't saw them again last year when they arrived to my country again! 🤬🤬🤬
So far as Christian ambassadors go, Stryper reached deepest into secular youth. THAT is accomplished rebellion. They deserve to be mentioned in the next Bible.
Stryper does NOT play for the Lord! According to 1 Thessalonians 5:22, we are not only to avoid evil, but also things that look like evil. Stryper looks and sounds just like openly satanic bands, such as Motley Crue. The verse reads: "Abstain from all appearance of evil."
@@martinmummert5614right because Motley Crue were definitely wearing black and yellow and writing borderline power metal songs with Christian lyrical just like Stryper 🙄
That was wierd... breaking the 666 comment guy...lol. Always loved STRYPER!... SINCE To Hell with Devil..... amazing music!... amazing writing... amazing just who they are.... and represent... ,and I respect that!.. I'm not religious, but these guys did make me believe! In us ... as humans and who ,and what we are ,and what..... we can become! Amen!!!
Saw them in San Antonio during the "THWTD" 30th anniversary tour. The only complaint is that just like this concert here, Michael's guitar is much louder than Oz's!
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
He's always done that so that the audience can actually see him playing (rather than simply seeing his head from behind the drumkit). They've always called him "the visual timekeeper" of the band.
Stryper always delivers.
May The Mighty Lord always Bless them!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

They kicked ass then and are still kicking ass in 2023!

I can't believe they went back to opening the shows with the Sing-Along song.
It was supposed to be transgressor, I guess that and no more he’ll to pay we’re cut since he’s dealing with allergies

Super!
Wish they'd play more songs off The Final Battle album...being The Final Battle tour I'd think they would.
Same, maybe it’ll be different when they start the ground run next month
The should have just labeled this The Calling On You Again Tour 🙅🏽♂️
They should play The way, the truth, the life, Rise to the call, Ashes to ashes, See no evil... hear no evil
Yeah I agree, I'm going to see them beginning of next month. So hopefully they'll have more off of Battle.

Does anybody know why the drummer always plays facing exit stage left? Great video !📹
Thanks, just what he does lol
@AviationFreak#1 I've heard of some having stage fright, but who knows?
It’s to connect with the audience. It’s easier to see him, compared to sitting behind a massive kit that conceals him from the audience.
Kelly Keagy from Night Ranger sets up on the far right facing towards the left
He's always done that so that the audience can actually see him playing (rather than simply seeing his head from behind the drumkit). They've always called him "the visual timekeeper" of the band.
Awesome Show!! I just wish the acoustics of the Rise Rooftop were better.
