I've worked on both Crown and Pearl. From the outside, I think Pearl is a much better looking ship, with Crown more resembling an oversized factory trawler. On the inside, Crown has a much better (and bigger) discoteque, which I enjoyed working in, whereas Pearl's disco was the size of a matchbox. The main buffet-restaurant on Pearl is much better because of the huge forward-looking windows and in general, I thought that Pearl felt more comfortable. Pearl handled stormy-seas pretty well, and being on that bridge during storms is more tolerable than on the very high-placed bridge on Crown. In any case, car-ferries, with that huge hole through the middle of the ship, are not comfortable ships during bad weather, stabilizers or not. I never understood why DFDS insisted on that route being called a cruise, since both those ships are basically just glorified truck/car-haulers. I did love sailing and never got tired of seeing the sun set over the ocean, and sailing up through Oslo fjord every 3d morning somehow never got old.
@Theferryguy6648 ive been busy with work and school so that’s why I’ve disappeared for a while, I have a video in the works that will hopefully be up by the end of the week :)
Crown seaways is one of those lost sisters that wasn’t even sold to Viking line
