Thanks buddy! I mean the patreon is somewhere I break it down a lil deeper. But you don't have to subscribe to that if you don't want or can't. I'll eventually reveal it all, in bits and pieces.
Holy smokes, now I get why people say you are a legend!💙 As a humble KIRI Engine developer, I gotta admit, my photo scans look like potato art compared to yours on da same blue app. 😂📸
5:57 "OpenCamera" Is my primary cam of choice. No, Ads, open source, a lot of control. Despite the slightly outdated UI. The biggest feature for me is I can shoot LOG video. But otherwise, as you said if the default already supports RAW and manual controls, then that's fine for images :) As for that, I enjoyed the video as well!
bro this is more than photorealism.. that's crazy w/ yr potato laptop... wow am amazed..... and i like the way u try to reduce yr rendering time by reducing yr resolution 😮❤😊
@stache_obj your works are truly inspiring, I'm noobie to blender I am trying to learn but it's too much overwhelming. My lap is not colour accurate and I keep struggling to color grande and color accuracy. can you give some tips for that please..
Stache, you should do a livestream of you just making your short films cuz there’s just a bunch of little things you do to make them look *so* good and I’d love to know exactly what they are 😁
I might. Livestreaming such a different muscle. I haven't developed that yet and am scared to start tbh. But it'll happen soon. Whenever I feel like I have something special for livestreams specifically
what i do instead of using a boolean to hide part of the object. (I learned this from ian hubert) Just go into edit mode, use the lasso tool in Xray mode and cut off the parts that you don't want or need selecting vertices.
love the render just one thing to add to the video try to put the short film at the end of the video to create suspense which will encorouge people to watch the video till the end
I'd love to do that but nobody watches whole videos anymore man. If I don't hook them up in the first few minutes, I lose them. The storyline of a video has to be in the backseat nowadays. Though I get what you mean!
@@stache_obj Otherwise I could use a proper camera. It's just that I'm fed up of the (so called) smartphones that get outdated and so you can't install application on any longer. Renders are impressive, just a few notes (from an animator and sound designer), in my opinion I think the camera movement is a little bit too much it ends up looking unrealistic, same with the constant focus/unfocus style, the sounds are also a bit much, I would have used less obvious background noise and a little bit less enhanced. Nonetheless amazing work, the imagery is astonishing!
Pffft too shy? I once spent 20 minutes dncing around an old tree stump as randoms and park wardens just stared at me. Have a huge collection of random photoscans, love it
ou yeah, i had to say. I complained bout the link to the patreon some time ago and u said it was working thinking i was bitter about not getting the passcode. well i had to use a vpn. it’s not a available to some countries

Obviously the short was awesome, but the sound design you did was amazing!!
I always say this, his sound design is always top notch
I love the sound design connoisseurs. Appreciate you both for saying that

That looks REALLY good, especially after you’ve added all your magic lighting, lens characteristics and other touches in Blender. Fantastic stuff!

I literally thought of what to write for like 15-20 mins and this is what i came up with:-
"Thanks for sharing"
:D
This is plenty brother. Appreciate you!
@@stache_obj if you can make a long form video about your workflow in realistic scene setups it would be very good
Thanks for sharing says all it needs to😅
AMAZING! as always
the colors, textures, light, sound! every detail.

I'm so happy you hit 100k! You deserve it :)
Thank you so much!!
Tried kiri for a while but ended up liking reality capture more tbh. On top of that it's free too so even better!
WOW, that was a good one. I tried Kiri before, but didn't think I can get this results with it. THX for the quick tut. !!!🙂🙃

Wow stache!! You really are resilient when it comes to overcoming the limitations. Loved the video. I will give it a try too.
Hell yeah. Do it. And if you do make something, hit me up and show me

You're a legend 🥰
Thanks bud!
Hats off brother i am just learning and i really shocked that blender can provide this kind of quality 🔥🔥
Oh yeah. Blender is capable of even more
i have always used meshroom to do photoscans but this seems like a faster and more intuitive alternative.
Definitely faster. And the output isn't too compromised either
6:45 if you want to photogrammetry an object by rotating it, you must have a perfect black background and a rotating table :D
That's what I've learned.
I dont use blender but that shirt film is too good ...love ur work man !!

Appreciate it buddy
i wonder how many samples you do in each of these shots? looks absolutely epic
4k resolution. And 50-100 samples at the max. Never more than that
What minimum Pc specs req to achieve that quality render in blender ?????
Whatever you can afford really with a decent starting gpu
Ever thought of doing a 360 on your style and work on a super wonky stylized short. I think it would be fun
Oh hell yeah. Just gotta build up that skill
how do you get that grain so crunchy
Dehancer
Amazing results!!! how did you get the roughness to match the material tyes?
Kiri engine generated s roughness map. It's quite random but it's good enough with a colour ramp
super cool man!
Thanks
Can i use this app to scan a face for avatar creation on Unreal Engine?
Ngl. It won't be super photorealistic if you intend to do close up shots. Might work for wider shots for sure
