- Making the moto-life a little easier, Ellie pieced together her very own E-Bicycle to use at the track- fitted with all the "bells" and whistles that she wanted as a moto-mom! After we got that put together, Team TwoTwo headed off to the track to get some coaching done from Chad! Both Tate and Kiah refined their skills on the motocross track in order to progress even further in this episode!

It's so cool listening to Chad talk and teach the kids the techniques for riding properly. Then seeing the kids respond and continue to get better.

I still can't believe how much Tate has improved this past year! He is looking really good out there. Kiah is doing an amazing job as well and she really seems to be able to apply what's being explained to her. I hope Pacer heals up quickly.The smiles on your family's faces is so contagious. I always love the positive atmosphere of the channel and how you all stick together.

Sweet bike, Ellie! I can't believe how fast Tate has gotten. It'll be awesome to watch him go pro. Kiah is incredible at absorbing direction and putting it down on the track. Chad an Ellie have some great, highly talented kids!
Tate and Kiah are doing great their speed and technique have improved so much. Love to watch the progress of their riding skills.

I just wanted to say it's really cool to see you showing them the ropes to your kids on the dirt bike skills
I raced motocross for four and a half years until my daughter was born then I had some worry about my family so it was tuff to give up my best time of my life riding to be responsible for my family
So when I see you schooling them on riding I just reflect back when I was riding
Just wanted to let you know that it's really nice to see what you are doing with your family
Kiah thank you!!! My lil girl does not ride but she plays soccer she has had a hard few days at practice and has been sad due to better players. she watched your video and she asked me to keep working with her so she could get better like you.. keep going please do not stop…..SEND IT!!!!

Kiah has come so far still. Just more and more riding and muscle memory and experience, she will gain so much confidence. Chad you’re such a great dad, love to see your coaching. Hey what about lay out different color mini cones on the track for her to visualize , ( red cones) no throttle here, ( green cones) throttle here.. just my two cents.
I agree on the brakes, when I went from BMX to moto the first thing I did in a panic stop was grab the front brake. I started swapping all my bike brakes after that to have consistency.

Mini dunge looks amazing again. Chad is so right about what he's telling kiah she's too rigid on the bike when you hold onto it for dear life like that you feel every little bump and the bike is more likely to spit you off. He's trying to get her to disconnect her hips from her upper body. It's a normal thing for her to do there's loads out there even adults that still do it, it's just good chad is more focused on correct technique it will help massively and once she nails it she will feel far more comfortable on the bike.

Tate looking surprisingly better! I think his speed and technique not to mention strength will really move quickly from here. Seems he is really feeling the bike and need for speed at this point and that's when everything changes, for the better of course. It will be very interesting to see where he will be a year from now. Have you got him training off the bike at all yet?
No . He is very raw still. Just got him on the bike consistently. 👍🏽

Man. I wish I had that patience when teaching. I guess that's why teaching is not for everyone.
With those plastic pedals take 60 grit sand paper hand sand pedals too take shin off and now they virtually non slip
Don't forget to grease pedal threads or seatpost, really doesn't matter on seatpost to much since it's aluminum.
I could use one of those myself with gas prices, be a grocery getter, you can get a bike trailer or caravan to pull behind as well.

Just a suggestion from a non-expert regarding keeping her head over the cross bar. Get her rolling slowly over some woops and keeping her upper body from moving with the bike. That way she will anticipate the front wheel going up the face of the jump. Also, just a small jump that she doesn't need to clear and keep constant half throttle, looking at a pint way in front. It's harder to drill basics while doing things that stress you at all or that trigger habits.

Chad as a farther with the same mentality as yours I would highly recommend this experiment. Pay a motorcross coach for 1 week to instruct your kids and see what happens. Of course you are incredibly knowledgeable in motorcross but the delivery of your instruction and be counter productive. inspire confidence over and over and over.

I’m lucky I have a mtb. But this new I can just cruise around on at the track. If I lived by the beach I’d ride it to swim in the surf. But dirt life it is!
Please don't ever be done with motocross. My baby girl won't ride. She fell over left side throttle went wide open and scared her. But she does do dance competition. So there's still hope. It is like dancing on a bike. Your an awesome family.
This is absolutely one of my favorite videos of the Reeds. All down to Chad working with his girl. I believe he had a bit of a break through with her. He actually spoke pure gold in this video and gave the secrete to what is the secret to being a world class rider. You have to be “ONE”. Just like the elite in any sport. Creating reality. We only get to see a few in our lifetime. I pretty good with Chad Reed being one I got to watch. BTW. Look out Loretta’s if/when it clicks in his baby girls brain.

Please get Eli’s brakes properly bled because mtb brakes are nothing like Moto brakes even tho they seem like they would be the same! It’s a common mistake a lot of Moto guys make because they don’t want to buy the tool to properly bleed the brakes! One love from 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
As well raise the seat so the leg that’s on the pedal in it’s lowest point of the crank stroke your leg has a slight bend in it.. that way you use the correct and all your muscles when pedalling and don’t wear your legs out pre maturely
