could it be possible that its a head gasket ? hows the compression on cylinder 3

Make sure you look at the head gasket hood you never know you could have blown it or maybe just burnt a valve check everything good dom
To be honest I don't think a blown headgasket would cause low compression, my guess is he cracked a piston ring

Hey Dom if you are doing engine build yourself you might as well build your trans too, like not buy a Pure trans which would be well over 10K but a Automatic Torque Solutions kit even stage 1 is 2300 and you do it yourself. im not sponsored but give brian Shull a shout. I have heard good things about his builds 👍🏼

“Let me powder coat my engine bay and and top mount, but attempt to build my engine and trans that’s semi new to the world in my garage” I hope this works for you bro and I eat my words, but I’d send it to a specialist to get built and ported man. If not I’d for sure get it machined at least and make sure torque plates are used.

I remember my boosted cars leaning out a LOT when it gets down around freezing outside. I'd get a good amount of knock
yeah i think that he leaned out on gas bc he said that he wouldn't put much in the tank ,maybe the fuel pump got ran out of fuel

you can't touch the cylinders on a b58. your only choice is to sleeve it or get a new block. I hope you engine is salvageable but I have my doubts.
