EDIT: its called Poloroids by Langston. ~~Mr Keebs, first off, thank you for the viideo. My V1 is on its way here shortly. BUT! I must ask. The first song on your video, it sounds so awesome, but its not on the list you posted to the pastebin :O. I'm dying to know what it is!
It's a great barebones kit to mess around with different switches and keycaps as well as for people who want a good keyboard experience for less than a $100.
Hey there fellow tech enthusiast! Have you considered adding the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule to your desktop setup? It's a versatile device with powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, making it perfect for maintaining a spotless environment. Plus, it's compact and portable, so you can easily use it for cleaning your car or during road trips. Definitely worth checking out! Cheers!
Hey, thanks for your comment! I recently came across the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule and I must say, it's a game-changer when it comes to keeping my desktop setup clean. The powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities make it super efficient, and the multiple tubes and washable filters are a nice touch. Definitely recommend giving it a try! 😄
Regret! I would have bought another aluminum keyboard for this price. I started to resell this keyboard last week, but seems like no one will give it a shot. I think I will have to follow your video, mod it and keep the keyboard.
Great review, I love your instant switch and key placement edits :-). I'm wondering if this is better in your opinion than an Epomaker TH80 barebones kit? It looks just a little bit on the bland side in comparison to me? I want to help my dad to get him a cute little keyboard for his gaming computer 😊
I imagine you already bought one, but I would suggest going for the lemokey p1. Which is also Keychron (their gaming brand), for the same price as the V1 only with a metal case etc. It's basically the Q1 pro. Ps really sweet you're doing this for your dad.
@@3choblast3r4 Thank you so much for your message and advice.. I have already bought the Epomaker Hi75 and it looks gorgeous and I think he is going to love it. 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend

Question I got the K1 with the red keys… and I hate it. What color keys should I get to have the keys feel a bit more resistant to clicking… for example, with the red I have a lot of mistakes when typing as the keys are soft and they press easy. Wondering if there’s a specific color that would help avoid the softness and in turn limit the amount of typing mistakes.
Nice keyboard! Im gonna get a q1 and im thinking about doing the same mods, but with q1 you need to do force break mod so should i skip some of these mods or will it be better the more mods i do ? :)
I just got the keychron v1 with the brown switches, not even pre lubed and it sounds so thocky and cream copared to my old blue switch keyboard

Why you only add 1 oring / screw? isn't supposed to be 2 ? one under the pcb and 1 on top

What’s the actuation point for the Keychron V1 Hotswap Red Switch? Thinking of getting one
I think it’s like 2mm? I’m not sure though, but the info is on the Keychron V1 page if you scroll a bit down

Which keycaps exactly?

Try some tactile switches, reds are usually linear and I also make more mistakes when using those
@@Rutteman what color would you recommend?
@@grod9976 Brown switches are usually tactile, been using those.
Anyone know if the knob is made out of metal or plastic?
Plastic, worth it tho
Nope just got one and it’s metal
why did you choose the v-series over the k-series? @@lettucerap1779
I have a V3, its made of metal
