What is he goes from biting to jumping on you? We have a 6 month old jack we bottle raised when he was 2 weeks old he was injured and abandoned from a wild herd we have in our area . We want to get him Gelded but were told we needed to wait for them to “drop” they haven’t. I. The mean time he will go from sweet to WCW cage match in the blink of an eye . He’s “playing” but it’s rough especially for my wife I’m 6ft and strong I can push him off as of now . My wife can’t

You can use the same blocking out method. Always keep a lead rope or training wand with you during this time when you are working on boundaries. Bottle babies are hard to set boundaries with.. they just don't understand. Does he have another young donkey to play with???

Is it okay to gently push them away from my chickens with a Hayrake?

Thanks for the video and your channel. I recently got a farm job and there is a zebra donkey cross that got aggressive with me and I have no idea why. I had to through his area to get to water line and he was pushing into me and even got a half rear where he raised his front feet a little off the ground. I alternated between petting his nose and snapped with my fingers and told him to move away and pointed and that got him to stop but I was eyeing the fence in case I needed to jump it. Is it a territory thing? Whats happening? I'm just new person he doesnt know well?

@@DonkeyListener ok thanks, they are moving the donkey to a different paddock so that should limit my interaction with the zonkey.

My 6 year old recently gelded donk got away with a good bite today. Very surprising. What can you do if they actually get the bite in? This was the first time he was successful.

Be better prepared next time.. set boundaries and a positive foundation training .. once the bite happens not a lot you can do
