      @@davidsmart8754 the sequence video changed my game completely around. This channel has been the most impactful on my game. Actually it was that video and the tempo video. The tempo video helped me gain roughly 10 mph on my club head speed just because I’m syncing things up properly.

    Another Hall of Fame video. I’ve been playing for way too long, but I’ve never had a system where I could understand exactly where an impact drill fit in. You guys have given me both. AND the early extension correction was just the prescription I needed. As @hot125 indicated, it would be nice to continue to expand on this up to a full swing (iron and driver :-)). Yeah, I’m greedy.

    This video completes the puzzle for me. I’ve been following the system, rebuilding my swing from the ground up with your videos (enjoying reconnecting with my inner athlete) and now see how old “exit left” concepts were throwing me off at impact. So hands allow the club to release along the vector of club head (out), but chest rotation drags it out left…so long as you don’t stall chest rotation, you get the “exit left” finish w/o having to yank it there. Pls correct me if I’m wrong!!

    Can you guys do some impact drills with driver? Been watching your videos for a while and my golf funds are going to playing at the moment. Winter time I’ll do the swing analysis. Thanks to you guys my irons are on fire. It’s funny cause I can’t hit the green right now inside of a 100 (working on that) but beyond that I’m golden lol.
    My driver is decent but I know I can squeeze more out of it. And I know where I’m missing it.
    When I consciously get my trail arm in front of my body like it’s supposed to be my driver is at least an inch lower than normal and you can see my ball mark on top of the club head. Idk if I’m dipping and staying too low and it’s just a sequencing issue (not rising or extending my left leg in time) or if it’s something else.

    I probably am misunderstanding something here. When I look at your release videos it seems you are telling us to let the trail wrist go from extension to flexion but in this video that does not seem to be the case. What simple concept have I missed?
    You guys are a pleasure to see work together.

    • @elitegolfschools
      @elitegolfschools  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What a great question! And for sure we want the club to unload and there to be an active release. We just need to pair that release with a supportive body. The second part of this vid discusses the infinity loop and if you watch Tj release it, the trail wrist does from that loaded extension state to an unloaded flexion state 🙏

    I don't how to put into words so I apologize if this makes absolutely no sense. I also do not want to suggest that I think you all are wrong about this. It's just hard to put this stuff into words and it's very easy to misinterpret.
    3:42, I used to do this and yes it most certainly does not work but I don't entirely understand the idea that the arms are dragged through the strike. feels like but the arms definitely swing. They just don't swing down at the ground. They also don't necessarily swing up either. It feels like my arms swing in a perfect circle around my torso. And practicing the impact position allows me to understand where in the arc of that swing the strike is going to occur. So if I want an open impact with a little less loft, then I need to get a feel for the strike occurring earlier in the arc of the arm swing. And I can achieve this by a delaying the swing of the arms relative to the pivot of the body. But not all the way until the club head is on the back of the ball.
