    Started watching you guys about a year ago with Own the impact zone and have been following ever since. Your explanations on how the swing works holistically, especially in relation to the spirals are amongst the best instructional videos ever released on this platform. I have reduced my index as a result but much more importantly I’ve enjoyed the process of better understanding what my body is capable of doing if activated in the correct sequence. No magic this or that, just sensible understanding of sequence and flow. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing.

    the way i've been doing it is trying to stay somewhat centered then left hand, left shoulder, left arm, left hip, left knee all back and up to the top with stable wrists then left side opening coming down and having the chest facing down. I've kinda grooved it and it happens so fast like you say so I just key on the left side moves and being lefthanded golfing right it works for me. i'm 74 yrs old, 13 hdcp. and golfing for close to 50 yrs. i enjoy your channel, thnx.

    I really love your concept and I am already improving my ballstriking. One general symptom I (right handed) have with your system is, that my flared out left foot flares out even more and my left knee follows of course, which feels like turning my the left knee too much to the target in the downswing. Maybe you could give info on how the left foot and left knee (or left leg) should behave in some of your following videos. Keep up the great work you do! thank you

    I really feel like this topic would be augmented by talking about the intention of the body movement. Ie everything you describe is intended as a counter movement to the weight of the club as it is slung like a hammer throw. The rib sway, the spiral rotation, the pelvic drop, the intent behind all of those movements is to counter the clubs weight and sling it. You nail all of the movements of course, it would just be awesome to also include the intent behind the movements. Perhaps a topic for a future video?

    Hi guys, just wondered about wrist hinge and how this figures, eg. There was a short you guys did a couple of weeks ago talking about trail wrist hinge and I’m not sure how it ties in here?

    • @elitegolfschools
      @elitegolfschools  ปีที่แล้ว

      Couple of different ways to get the COM of club working up. One is radial in the backswing and the other is a small amount of pronation accompanied with extension of trail wrist. Just depends on how shut you want the face

  • @mwsports
    @mwsports ปีที่แล้ว

    The Roryism is a really important piece. I used to crash into that space with my lead knee. Nowhere to go - end up flipping at it. I played some great golf like that but also some terrible golf 😂 the thing I find most difficult working on this idea is getting the club more vertical and in front so my lead arm isn’t restricting rib sway in transition pinned against my chest. Hard to break old habits but golf balls are getting thumped with way more face stability already. Waves are building 🌊 💪🏼 keep em coming fellas. 🏌️‍♂️

Been trying some of the body drills and everything feels more natural as a lefty from the perspective of the spiral lines. Have you ever seen someone switch hit or go lefty later in life?

      Correct , but most golfer go wrong from the start , with poor ankle mobility . They have trouble with there swing from the ground. So should be able to feel the mobility in your ankles in the golf swing. Helps tremendously leaning the spiraling of the chest you speak of. Great stuff. It would be great for you to have a video of how the ankles move in the golf swing ? The Infinity moves would be easier to understand and perform. Cheers .
