Yes, it does sharpen knives. As usual thank you for the links. All is going pretty well here in east Tennessee, we finally got a lot of sunshine, and the garden has perked up again and producing again. We were having a great deal of trouble with ground molds. I found a really simple and effective solution that is working a charm. If you have that problem, I will tell you what we did. Hope you are having a good holiday weekend.
I'm glad your garden is back on track! We usually don't get a lot of mold, we suffer from lack of rain usually. We finally got a little a couple of days ago to keep my pasture from drying up. Thanks Glenn!
So found a great old grinder for 75 locally, and a Razor Sharp on ebay for 50. I'm into it for $125 and have never had a faster sharpening system. Set up is a breeze too because I'm free-handing it (no set up-but experience and a steady hand) I'll be replacing the Razor Sharp if I ever wear it out, and I'll pay retail if necessary at that point. I now know what it's worth!
Yeah, Grizzly puts out some rough ass stuff. I have a their floor model drill press and hate it. I've used it a lot, but hate to have to turn it on because it's so noisy and rough. Ear plugs help.
