Thank you Naffy. Will do an update soon on how they are all doing. I have some new seedlings that recently came up so still quite small. As with anything you grow from seed you can name them anything you like as they are yours and one of kind.
The greatest video I've ever watched but still to know about when to collect seeds and the right time and I msan month to begin the process of germination and planting .. thank you so much the great work
Thank you, that was very helpful and such beautiful roses you are breeding. I now have several jars of seeds in the fridge from a few hips. So in 3 months, hopefully some will germinate. 😊✨
Extremely wonderful snd descriptive narrative. Question: Have you've tried pouring an inch of water and freezing those seeds for a month (shortening the stratification period) ?
I have a sundowner rose and kashmire elegance that I will follow your example to germinate and grow. Thank you. Your babies became healthy plants. Gorgeous😍Subscribed
Thank you, I like your step by step easy to watch process. Your baby roses are beautiful, did you cross pollinate or germinate from your rose hips? I’ve crossed pollinated and followed the process and the seeds which were quite big didn’t sprout in the fridge so I’ve planted them in a medium, so I hope they won’t take too long to germinate. We are in autumn in NZ so not sure where to put the tray while waiting?
Thank you! I do a mixture of pollinating and allowing the bees to pollinate for me. You can try and put the tray outside when it starts getting colder. I'm not sure how cold it gets for you in Winter but considering the temp of a Fridge is usually around 3c Roses still sprout then but will need to be patient as some can take more than 3 months and others might need a warm and cold cycle to germinate. Hope this helps!
So far best video I watched about growing roses from seeds.
Thank you very much! Good to read you enjoyed it.
Beautiful! I’m going to start my first try very soon. This video was super helpful
This was magical to watch, well done !

Beautiful Roses.

Thank you! The time of collection would normally be when the hips turn yellow or red and would normally be in the Autumn/Fall.
Thank you, found very helpful.
Great 👍 thank you for share
This was incredibly helpful!
Hope it works for you!

Você faz o teste de água oxigenada? Na quebrada de dormência?
Is it bad if the stratification period is skipped? The three months in the cold?
thanks

so did you had success having the same flower as the original plant?
How many days it will take to sprout?
Will seeds from rosehips that have been outside all winter and picked in the spring germinate?
It is possible but try and follow the steps in the video as well just to make sure they get enough cold.
AS all my roses are grafts will they simply produce seeds that will express the rootstock
They will all be on their own roots.
After stratification where should i plant them i mean inside o r outside
Yes, and when is the best time to start this whole process?
Do you get to name them , I presume most will be novel🧐😎😊
