    WOW! This is so wonderful! I've got a perfume quality rose bush that will need to be moved next year and I've been deeply worried that it would die! Now I know how to grow babies just in case! And have enough to share!!

      I would suggest you use some ripe hips if you want to try this method. The hips are full of seeds and usually give you a 40per cent germination rate. You also need to be very patient, 20 days to produce these results is miraculous. Belt and braces, you can also take cuttings from your rose, pencil thickness and about 8 inches long. Put these cuttings into a soil based compost. These will root and usually take two years to get to flowering stage. Good luck.

    This method is amazing!!! I followed your instructions precisely using just a plastic fork and now it has a fantastic root system and has actually produced new forks. Gonna try it with spoons next!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      Там выше задают обоснованный вопрос, вырастут ли из них розы. Это, по сути, выращивать из семян.

    • @irinamironova8677
      @irinamironova8677 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      новые сорта роз получают именно из семян, которые получились от перекрестного опыления.
      А вы попробуйте посеять семена.. это же невероятная вещь, у шиповника свежие семена проростают только на третий год, и, чтобы пораньше, они нужны старые.
      Она взяла несозревшую коробочку, в зеленом состоянии(!), значит, она проросла от черешка.
      Ну что же, невелика потеря будет, надо летом проверить.

    I would think the resulting plant may depend on whether the parent is an F1 hybrid, or an heirloom, as well as what pollinated the bud. So, it may, or may not grow up to look like the parent plant.

    • @kevinklingner7712
      @kevinklingner7712 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      That would be only if it is from seed. From this it isn't conclusive one way or another. I would have though it it was from seed ,the hips would have more shoots as they have more than one seed usually.

      One example of the same cross of the same two rose parents but one pollination done in France by Francis Meilland and the other in the U.S.A. by a famous grower and breeder there produced three red roses with each being quite different.
      The French cross produced Papa Meilland a beautifully dark red rose.
      The U.S.A. cross produced 1) The beautifully Mr Lincoln red rose. and 2) the very dark red Oklahoma rose.

    What conditions do they need after germination; warm, cool? And then, can they grow "under the cloud" or in a greenhouse?

      Maybe when the buds naturally fall off

      I succeeded in germinating two rose seeds out of 20 or so 😅 and made the great mistake of exposing them too early to the sun... So they died. You have to put them in a well lit place with no direct sunlight... If you don't have enough humidity you should keep it covered with a plastic bottle or bag until it's sturdy before acclamating it to outside

    Hello Gaden Easy! Such amazing video. I have a qustions for you: Why did you splash away all the initial soil and put a small bushes in new soil? Is it because you wanted to show us the roots of the roses or it suppose to be that way. Please explain. Thank you.
