That's a bucket list ride for sure! I would maintain the patina but make it run and drive like a modern muscle car! Looking forward to seeing more of it!
I have a factory 1970 2WD Blazer which was the first year for a 2WD ( 982 was the production number for 70s ) not sure how many 71s were produced but they definitely are rare 🙌. Probably more 2WD Blazers out there now though with all of the 4 to 2WD conversions that have been done 🤔
Awesome find! If it's number matching I would leave it all original. If not do whatever you want without cutting it up to much. It is still a rare find tho.
There should be a couple wagoneers and an old Chevy in them woods lol. I know exactly where you guys are. I was gonna buy that thing YEARS ago but the lady at the time wouldn’t sell it lol
Keep it and build it all the way. That’s my dream truck

I would clean it up and keep it original.
The outside is going to stay original but everything else probably not

No such thing as numbers matching on the first gen blazers; the vin was never on the block.
Bag and bodydrop it
Numbers matching...? It's Not a Muscle car, so nobody really cares
