I bought a corner VERANDA home in Moultrie Creek and HAVING A FENCED/WALLED BACK YARD WAS NON-NEGOTIABLE FOR US. I wanted to have privacy and not facing my neighbors and looking at them. I do not want windows in my garage door they get dirty and bring in the sun/heat. We had professional landscaping and had my front door changed to the decorative glass. My home has great curb appeal and we have one of the few backyards that could put in a pool if we wanted, but with 114 pools it seems silly. IMO
The Zillow map was incorrect for the St Johns house. St John is north of the turnpike, south of lake okahumpka . That house has power lines in the back yard.
Did you notice the pool house with the open view backyard is really looking across the power line right of way? The prior house where you commented had the lines off in the distance. This $879K home forces you to be nearly underneath them. That would be a no for me.
I like the dark cabinets if the walls are light and the counter is light 👍 just like you had said ! I live in Mass and i watch your show every week ! I see many people complaining about the prices of homes in the Villages. It really is not the home that you are overpaying for. You are paying for the privilege of living in a clean, well maintained and well organized community. I will soon be overpaying for the privilege of living there as well.
The last home has videos of people fixing it up. TH-camr Ira Miller realtor in and around the Villages. I think he referred to it as a million-dollar home. It needs help to me. Not only is the outside color a miss, I don't care for the flesh color floors and walls.
Yes this is Ira's listing and he is the general contractor on the renovation. He documented the whole process on TH-cam. The house has a bank vault. It actually had safes inside the vault. He was trying to have it removed but the estimate he was given I believe was 30k. It was crazy expensive. So they decided to leave it there. I don't see any problem with the curb appeal. I like it.
@@DisMindy5767 too much white. It’s a big house and needs another tone. You had to buy that around 600k. Can’t over pay in the villages for fix n flip. You’ll lose your kids inheritance.
The Landry Loop address looks like minimal time lived in. No pictures on walls. A panic 2022 buy?
