    Thank you very much for your information❤ I saw that beauty soup somewhere on TikTok or Instagram. And because I like to go to Chinese shop for my supplies, I grab a bag of mushrooms. But didn't know how to cook them. Your video was the most informative. Thank you very much🎉 more beauty ingredients please😊

    I used to use the black ear fungus in my ramen, but its getting harder to find in my area. I will have to look out for the Silver mushroom fungus.

      Yea I love black wood ear mushroom in hot pot and soup a lot! the Cantonese sweet and sour soup with black wood ear! ahhh chef kiss my friend!!!
      and right, this is one of the rare mushroom that've never seen in general grocers but if you go to a chinese grocery store, there's normally a whole aisle of dried mushrooms, and silver ear will be right next to black wood ear.

    Hi thanks for the video. Very informative. I was thinking of just boiling mine and blending in some with a smoothie. Does it have a very strong taste or will it take up the taste of the rest of my smoothie ingredients like seamoss does?

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Omg love the plan! So silver ear mushroom barely have any taste so it’s actually perfect for that! What it will do is probably making your smoothie extra thick so I’ll start with small portion and add on if needed! Lmk how it goes. I might want to try out your idea❤️❤️❤️

    Thank u for your video.. must I cook for an hour? I thought I can just add into my instant noodles soup & cook for 10 minutes, is it alright if I boil for only 10 minutes??

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can! Tho the broth won’t be thick like that, if you just want to eat the mushroom 10-15 mins boiling will be enough time to cook through it, I’ll still recommend to pre soak and remove the center core. Lmk how it goes!!!

      @@ericayeahtw may I ask again, this mushroom, does it have any expiry date?? Someone gave this to my mom some years ago & is it still edible although it has been safely sealed inside a plastic bag & the bag hasn't been opened yet..??

    I just got alot of Tremella powder from korea (1.2kg), and I think its not extracted. Can I cook and soak it for 1hr in bulk, and then consume it over a few weeks? Or do I have to consume it soon after I sook and soak it? Thanks alot for this video! I thought I might be allergic to it. Had no idea I couldn't consume it raw.

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  หลายเดือนก่อน

      So soaked whole tremella can be kept in the fridge for 2-3 days before usage, but powder I’m not very sure! In general I’ll say the smaller the particle the more likely to spoilage, so overnight shouldn’t be a problem but I won’t make it in bulk:(

      @ericayeahtw  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure if your powder is different then what I’ve seen, but usually i stand powder drink like that doesn’t need to be soak for too long? It should be easy to make whenever you want them? I know some only require 5 mins soaking

    I wanted to make the fungus into a powdered form and put it in a smoothie, is this a bad idea since it shouldn’t be eaten raw?

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yea, i wouldn’t do that .. but you can try cook it through first, then freeze dry it or dehydrate it, that might work🤷🏻‍♀️

  • @robertng4286
    @robertng4286 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Can I just cook for 10 minutes & instead for an hour?? By adding into my instant noodle soup..

    • @ericayeahtw
      @ericayeahtw  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

       @robertng4286 Usually when you buy it in the store, you'll see the best-by date, it's recommended to finish dry mushrooms within 2 years in general, but does it make it unsafe to eat after that, I don't necessarily think so,
      tho old food ingredients might have some nutritional lost during the process, so if your snow mushroom expires for a while, you can check it you can see any deterioration occurs, like the leaves become sticky, inelastic, there's some dark green spots showing or mold, or have a sour odor, that means it's gone bad, discard it entirely, cuz poisoning may occur if eaten, and if it looks just fine, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. be careful tho
