Wow... during Enoki I paused and went off on a tangent of your other videos about growing mushrooms - then hunting for wood chips, getting books at the library :-). This looks like so much fun... but wondering about growing outside in Arizona :-O. Could this all be done in a garage?

FYI, Tremela is readily available in Chinese grocery stores as "White Fungus", Wood Ear also is a popular item there. Both are usually available dry, but Wood Ear are sometimes available fresh

As an allergist i greatly appreciated the socially responsible reporting of the allergy protective findings (ie quoted the study and model rather than “xyz has been found to protect against anaphylaxis” sans mouse model and 1 study in low impact factor journal (as the pandemic taught us very well how misinformation disseminates rapidly and destructively!)

This is great information about the health benefits from these mushrooms!!! I have OAS( oral allergy syndrome) and my husband is in remission from stage IV Non-Hodgekns Lymphoma. We are in our early 30s and have seen and felt the benefits of natural, and holistic food medicines. Thank you for your extensive research and info. Look into nueorplasticity/healing of brain and ability to change habits like a reset - regarding shrooms and lsd. It may early trigger mental health issues, but thays not a bad thing. You'll have them pop up anyways, and psychedelics help you work and overcome this.

Bonjour, thank you for sharing this interesting information. I think shiitake mushroom is ranking high among medicinal mushrooms as well, and it is easy to find in your local Asian supermarket... as is tremella actually, that I buy there to make a traditional dessert. Oyster mushrooms are my favorite so thank you for another reason for cooking them 😁

never knew that enoki, oyster, and wood ear mushrooms were medicinal! for enoki we usually grill it with bacon or use it in hotpots. for oysters, we sautee them. for wood ear or taingang daga (auricula cornea), we use it in pancit habhab. it adds great texture.
