1968 Camaro "Reloaded" Complete Restoration Final Assembly at V8 Speed & Resto Shop
We were entering the home stretch on the build of our pro-touring 1968 Chevrolet Camaro called "Reloaded", on it's way to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas for the big public unveiling. The final assembly process covers installing the dash components, such as the 1968 design gauges from New Vintage USA and the Vintage Air GEN IV air conditioning system. The interior went in during this phase, including Eastwood Thermo-Coustic sound deadoning panels, Scat PROCAR seats, and a 3-point seat belts front & rear from Morris Classic Concepts. The remaining interior items, ranging from the carpet, door panels, dash pad, hardware, sill plates, and rear seat covers all came from Classic Industries. We also installed the Rocket Racing Booster wheels and Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tires. Check out the LED blue dots hidden in the tail lights!

First time l've ever seen a Car building Shop go as far as Actually/Virtually/Really Blacking out the Battery & it looks killer, those small detail's are huge in the big picture of Autodome. Mad Max would be proud.

Nice, and the redline tires chop up the color of the rims and make them "pop" good touch.

Beautiful! The narrator sounds just like Nick Offerman. I think you guys should have used the original blue dots on the lights. It was also an aesthetic thing back then too.

Just watched the videos.... that was VERY expensive for someone, one original 67 firebird fender took me 3 days to get right. I don’t have a trust fund...... that body work was off the grid!

How did you modify the bracket to fit a 1968 Camaro? I've got the same bracket and it's excessively long.

    • @V8TV

      Which bracket?

You happened to catch us at the right time! We modify that bracket to fit tighter to the bottom of the dash. You can see it in the build photo gallery at this link: v8tvshow.com/V8TV_2/index.php/en/photos/992-1968-pro-touring-chevrolet-camaro-reloaded-build-gallery-at-v8-speed-resto-shop?start=4
