Living all over Asia for over 25 years, including China and Taiwan, (where I never stopped studying the myriad of wonderful differing ancient treatments), I found many folk to be, what they themselves would say were, Chinese hypochondriacs that expressed pain in a general sweep of the hand covering a huge area and never specific, but hated the acupuncture treatment that might help that pain and were afraid of the needles that their own nation invented. However, as soon as one gets to the rural countryside that all changed where tough people were still working hard into their eighties. Since returning to the west and treating people every day for so many years and now aged 73, I have happily found that statement to be true of all nations 😅 There is something else that is surprisingly true for me to this day and that is that I find I am often still very surprised at the super fast efficacy of the balance method, even after years of using it. As my patients say, “It’s like magic!” Dr. Tan is sorely missed!
