A lot of people playing ? Characters are balanced ?
That last one the guy didn’t even give him time to catch his breath for one second and he still got deflected, this randomly came to me as a recommended video even tho I don’t play for honor but this was amazing to watch, great combat and nice reflexes from every player but that last match.. oof mad respect for the quick reflects and counters, simply amazing in every way. I don't care if I get ganked or people interrupt my executions / kills, but it just seems weird he would hold back from ganking, but then go ham the second his partner dies.

very rarely you can purely react to fast attacks on console. It's about knowing what the opponent's character can't and can do, feeling comfortable with the character you're playing and about reading your opponent like a book. When you expect/ anticipate a certain attack it's easier to parry/ deflect it. Condition your opponent to do certain things and it becomes even easier. You can even parry/ deflect PK zones and the likes on console if you're experienced enough. The people who are playing the game since launch can do that kind of stuff on a regular basis

when i saw your video i needed to play orochi, so i did and i am now rep 1 thanks to you and your videos. They really helped me to become not only a good orochi, but a good player overall. I like youre videos so much and they help me a lot :)

I'm rep 3 pro hi on console and I can deflect most attacks and I main warden it's not hard if you just practice a lot vs bots I advis this to get good as orochi
make sure you are using your whole kit not just lights and don't vortex too much, you'll get severely punished by players who know what they are doing but good job getting to rep 1 dude
it really just comes down to muscle memory your body will just react to what they do. Especially for deflecting but there are ways to bait them into deflects such as feints and the like. Being able to read the opponent and knowing what kind of mix up they are going to do can also really help. It just takes practice my dude. Going into training and practice deflecting and various different opponents do this for 2 hrs or so and then you'll get results. This will also help with your reaction time but make sure to vs actual live players since bots can only do so much. sorry if this was long.

I don't understand how people never parry your heavys. You're good but Something I've noticed is you seem to try too hard for deflects, and it messes up your parry game as well as your blocking game.

@@CalamariTasteGood First of all Deflect=/=Dodge. I want to make that clear since performing a deflect is hard (speccially after the nerf). If you successfully pulled through a deflect you should hear a metal-like sound. Also not every character can do it. Either way, if you want to learn how to properly deflect, go and watch tutorials on youtube, it helped me a lot knowing about i-frames and that other stuff.
Here’s my recommendation for all console orochi out there, spend at least a HOUR training with a level one bot with no damage, that way you’ll get a idea to when to move to deflect the attack, it’s pretty easy once you get the hang of it

Thats a deflect. It's like a parry but only assassins can do it. To perform it you must dodge to the direction of the attack.
