But I've been studying how you fight and started practicing with my Orochi and I've come to find out I'm not too bad. So, thank you for inspiring me to play my worst enemy in the game (other that Kensei). XD
Really cool Gameplay man, I was just about to give up on ever getting decent at Orochi, but watching you play gives me motivation to keep trying. For anybody more experienced with the game: how did he get out of the rush and straight into the deflect at 5:15? For me, even when I stop the thing, he still runs a few steps extra, and I have no idea how Nova did it so smoothly here.

@@cndychriz5679 yes, wind gust is light and guaranteed. It also starts a chain. Out of hurricane blast, you can cancel into guard break if they dodge. If they dodge attack, you might not be able to GB them, so cancel into a backdodge light attack to avoid their own dodge attack. If they're about to hit you with something really slow, you can even cancel into backdodge heavy and have time to land it. If they roll away from your hurricane blast, chase them by canceling into a forward dodge light. If in any situation you see they keep attacking when you deflected them, most of the time you can just let the hurricane rip, as you have hyper armor to tank a hit. It's pretty complicated to memorize all the options but it's worth it, trust me. Also, keep in mind most of these options lead into more of your chains, meaning you can easily overwhelm your opponents before they process what happened. Finally, any chain finisher can be canceled into a dodge attack (usually backdodge heavy) to continue the pressure, if you have stamina for it.

@@cndychriz5679 Feint a lot. In chains, when your opponent likes to parry your lights, throw a heavy once in a while, and it will hit them. Also, keep your distance from the opponent, as you top lights are good for whiff punishing.

nova, when are you gonna get a PC? i’m a rep 36 orochi and i’ve mained her since season one. i just main other characters sometimes like my rep 12 glad, rep 8 zerker, rep 11 shinobi, etc so my orochi isn’t rep 60 yet lol. but i’ve always wanted to either fight you, or play w you. like you’d play SO much better on pc simply because of the fps alone. you should definitely switch!!!

When the warden lock on you, try to back up a bit, I do that and many of them throw the dash heavy and it's easy to deflect

King Siona you dont have to hard feint. its a soft feint, so as soon as you go into the deflect, you can just press ur gb button and it will do it.
