- In this video I share my techniques for finishing the bases of my 28mm Napoleonic models. The method is not hard to do but yields great results. I also demonstrate how to prepare movement trays. The skills in this video are primarily for Black Powder, Chosen Men, Sharp Practice or other similar game systems but could be applied to any type of miniature basing. Enjoy and please remember to subscribe!
If you like miniature wargaming of any type including Warhammer, 40k, dioramas, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), Black Powder, napoleonics, historicals and Bolt Action, I suggest you watch as many of the techniques featured here for both beginning and advanced model painters would be useful.

Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
thank you i have no idea how to base models and cannot find bases
Do you have access to a 3d printer to make your bases? You can usually buy bases from Victrix, Perry etc. I do sell the parts for my basing method on my etsy store as well.
no printer here
If you're in the US, Litko is a major maker of bases, there are plenty around if you look for companies making laser-cut MDF supplies for miniatures gaming.
@@chrisrobinson196 thank you sir I am in us I have victric and Perry and Warlords Nappy minatures.
@@e-4airman124 Gamecraft Miniatures is another good place in the US for mdf terrain, I think they cut bases too. If you're using round bases, flat washers can also work and aren't too expensive in bulk (some people use pennies but that might be tight for 28mm).
@@chrisrobinson196 thank you for your time to comment 😃
@@e-4airman124 Happy to help, I'm in Canada but have bought from both Gamecraft and Litko, and they're good companies. Gamecraft has a sale on right now too.
