I had a few feeding issues on my mags with TTI extensions. Possibly weak springs. I wasn't in the mood to check them out after the match, so that'll have to wait until I get home.
So I had a very similar issue with my compensated 43x. Ended up being a ridiculous amount of carbon buildup in the striker channel. I had to scrape out the back side of the firing pin hole on the backside of the breach face(inside the striker channel) because it was limiting the forward travel of the striker. Humidity made the problem worse because the carbon became tacky. Now I detail strip and detail clean that setup every 500 rounds. Honestly though, I think I’m going to ditch the comp and get a 48 slide for it. Going to use the 43x slide on my chopped down x frame in BUG division.
Humidity could have been a contributing factor, but both guns were squeaky clean. And the fact that I had the same problem with 2 different guns, and the problems disappeared after changing the ammo...
@@ShooterReady489 I agree. It's the same ammo I've been using for weeks now with no issue at all. It was not treated any differently than the Magtech ammo I swapped to at the end. My only guess is the original ammo is from a small shop and maybe wasn't crimped/sealed properly, allowing humidity to affect the powder & primers.
Bro, that kinda looked frustrating. Sorry that you had magazine/ammo issues.
Yeah... my day didn't start well. At least my stages were pretty decent after I sorted out the mechanical issues.
@@Delta-Alpha-Kilo So, what was wrong with that mag?

@@Delta-Alpha-Kilo definitely ammo. Sounds like hard primers or primers not fully seated.
