You can also use "Neutralnet" in the input, so you don't need to use another program like since it is already built-in! Works the same way as AI Track.
@@minglee2566 I just use the first webcam that popped up on amazon so nothing special. Like he said the better the webcam (FPS) the better the results. For reference I'm using the EMEET 1080P Webcam
used my build in laptop cam and worked perfectly... amazing video, thanks for the help, been wanting headtracking for a while just didnt want to invest in the hardware.
@@Briggsy435 yup, as long as your cam is good enough to see your face clearly it will work... so just about any 720p cam either a webcam or built in laptop cam will work.
To make operating switches and knobs use the toggle function, it freezes the view so you can easily operate knobs and switches, a second push on the toggle frees the view back to normal
I only downloaded open track and worked fine with ETS, I did obviously down load drivers for my webcam which is a Logitech C910, open track automaticity zoomed to my face!
For some reason, i followed all the steps but opentrack doesn't even recognize the game and says unknown game on the top. The head tracking isn't even functional.
Hey, everything works! but when using it, I can't interact with any cockpit buttons or knobs in any aircraft. I've tried the in-game hotkey, but still no luck. Any advice?
i tried head tracking on Euro Truck Simulator 2 with my phone camera (pixel 8 Pro) via usb. But opentrack doesn't realy work well. Opentrack can't even hold 60fps i also have stuttering and useing AITrack makes the stutter worse. But that out of the side, good video.
That's why I bought the cheapest webcam and never use the selfie camera of a phone. Webcam set to the lowest resolution and choose "neuteraltrack" in Opentrack. Works great in ETS2 and ATS and Flightsim 2020. There are plenty of tutorials on YT to set it up. Have fun
how do i connect opentrack to msfs? i followed your steps , that octopus is moving so opentrack picks up the data from AItrack. But oipentrack apparently doesnt not give the data to msfs or msfs not picking it up
Thanks you for this awesome video, very hepful! What add-on do you use for the parking traffic, for the liveries and aircraft? Thanks again for upload this video!
Thats depend the webcam px if you are use 720p you have 30fps your head movements will take longer to perform in the simulator. If you are better performance you need a webcam with the same pixels than the monitor. And the configuration of resolution in the simulator would have the same than the recommended resolution of your monitor. With a Webcam 1080p you have a more better performance ;)
I have dug out an old webcam mate after watching this evening. I love it mate. Thanks for making this video Nott! 🙌
Hey you’re welcome! 🙂

@bottle-xz5hpOpentrack > Input > select "Neutralnet".
Its in the "Input"@bottle-xz5hp
I just set mine up. After tweaking the sensitivity a bit, it's perfect! It's an absolute game changer for sure. Thank for this tutorial.🙌
Hello, which camera model are you using? Thank you

You don't need AiTrack anymore. Opentrack can do it all. Select Neutralnet as Input in Opentrack and you're good to go
it isnt working for me, do i have to do anything else?
Not working for me with the Logitech Brio. Tracker Offline.
Yes, Opentrack works for me natively now using Neuralnet input.
I can’t get it to work any help

This is brilliant for shooter games. I can lean left and right and peak corners without letting go of AWSD
Tnx for the introduction. I like the concept, & for the price you can't go wrong
msfs 2020 is not reconizing the opentrack, i cant turn on track ir in the msfs 2020

Which camera should we buy?
thanks for this, tried it out really works well.
Could some better quality and higher Hz camera improve the smoothness of the movement? What about using it during night - is it accurate/usable?
How do you slowdown the track from left to right its way to fast
Thank you so much! I'm going to be using this for ETS2
Wow this is amazing considering its free
Do you have less fps in the sim when you use aitrack with opentrack.
I was looking for something like this, Thank you! BTW, I think you could use this on Stream.
Yeah I think it could be very cool. Especially while on the tarmac, taxiing around. Not 100% convinced it’s good for the whole time yet

lovely hear british accent 😄
I have to move my camera to the cockpit every time I use a different plane. and I cannot interact with the cockpit. any help?
Try legacy Mouse mode in open track

Thanks 😊
I can't get this to work with MSFS 2024 for some reason. Webcam etc is working but I can't get any movement from my head in game.
Have you found a fix?

There is a hot key within msfs in the settings you can turn on/off. Headtrack in control options under keyboard. Hope this helps.
Beat me to it - thanks! :)
